After the ceremony, Yudai, Roka and Kiniro were sitting in Yudai's room, not sure how to kill their time. Izo, who'd been missing for weeks, came back as a Reversed fighter, so needless to say their moods had been dampened. Yudai lay on his bed, fidgeting with his necklace, Roka was spinning in a revolving chair, staring off into space, and Kiniro sat on the table, filling out the team's information.

"So," Yudai started, being the first to break the silence. "What's going to happen next?"
Roka sighed and slumped her head against the back of the chair. "No idea. We came in so sure of ourselves. All that positive energy is just gone now I guess."

"Well, if we're going to win the tournament, and subsequently save the world, we're going to need stay focused and not let ourselves be distracted by negative thinking." Kiniro added, not looking up from the papers. A brief pause fell on them, and then Kiniro spoke again, asking, "So, in that case, let's choose a team name and leader. Any ideas?" Yudai and Roka exchanged look and then shrugged. They looked at Kiniro, who also shrugged.

"How about we wrote the name down, and on the count of the three we show what we wrote." They all nodded and did just that. "Okay, on the count of 3." Kiniro said.
"One. Two. Three!"
The trio revealed their suggestions, leaving it no surprise as to who wrote what down. Kiniro took the sheets looked at the sheets, laughing as he did.
"Team Winged Rosary and Team Crimson Nova? I wonder which one of you came up with which!" Roka's face went bright red, and she snatched Kiniro's sheet, earning a surprised gasp.
"Oh, like you're one to talk, Mr....Team Rai Mirai!? That is so you!" She said, rolling on the ground laughing. It was now Kiniro's turn to blush.
"Hey, shut up! Ugh, seriously, at this rate we might as well call ourselves 'Team Unknown' or 'Team Couldn't Pick A Name'. Back to drawing boar-"
"Wait." Yudai interrupted. "What did you just say? Team Unknown? We'll be Team Unknown Defenders!" declared Yudai. Roka giggled.
"I get it. Because we're Defenders, and we have clans 'unknown' to the general public. It's perfect, I love it."
"Mhmm," Kiniro chimed in. It has a nice ring to it."
"Then, it's settled. We're Team Unknown Defenders from now on. Now, then hat leaves the matter of assigning the role of team leader. So, who's is going to b-"
"You." Both Roka and Kiniro said simultaneously. A quiet atmosphere washed over them all, until Yudai raised his eyebrows.
"Come again? You can't be serious."
"YOU can't be serious. This tournament is more personal to you than any of us."
"And you're the one Harmonics Messiah entrusted with everyone's future. You're also the one he chose to inherit his spirit. It should be you. But if you're still unsure, we can let the cards decide." Kiniro took out his deck, shuffled it, and placed it on the table.

"What are you suggesting? Yudai asked.

"A little game. We call it Luck, Power, Triggers. We take a deck, shuffle it, and then take the top cards equal to the number of players there are. Who ever gets the unit with the highest power wins the game, and in turn, will become team leader. I'll shuffle one G Unit in too, to make things interesting. Are you guys fine with this?" Roka and Yudai nodded, indicating their agreement to the terms.

"In that case, let's go. Luck, Power, Triggers, draw!" Roka took a card, followed by Kiniro, and followed by Yudai. "Okay, let's see what we got."
Roka revealed her card first. "Time Seraph, Kayros. I got a 9k base card." Kiniro was next to reveal his card. Once he picked up the card, he grinned.
"Of course, it's my Deus Clockwork card. 11000 power."
It was now Yudai's turn to draw.

"You know what this means, Yudai? Out of the 49 cards left in the deck, only one card you draw will win this. The G Unit."

Yudai reached the top card and placed it facedown on the table. He gently flipped the card over.
Kiniro smiled. "Nice pull. Team Leader." Watcher of Fate, Aion. A G Unit with 15000 power. Yudai had won the game. Despite his previous protesting, he'd become the team leader. Giving in to them, he sighed and gently bowed.
"I hope I'll carry out my role well."
