Yudai was in a dreamlike state, speaking with Harmonics Messiah.
"Well done, Defender of Space, for locating and joining forces with the Oracle of the Dawn. Send my regards to the Dragon Knight of Flames, if you will."
"Yeah, about that. There's a couple of things I wanted to talk to you about, if you don't mind."
"I suppose one of those questions would be about the Oracle of the Dawn's special gift." Yudai nodded in response. "As you know, I appointed Clan Guardians to help resist Link Joker and the Void. I gave several of them supernatural powers. In a way, they gain the power of clan they lead. I call them the Next Generation Clan Guardians."
"But why so sudden? Why only when we go to the United Sanctuary that we see them?" Yudai asked.
"Actually, the ones you call Izo Hiiro and Rei Asuka are also Next Generation Clan Guardians. To put it simply, they haven't recognised their power yet and it is currently dormant inside of them."
"I see. That just about covers that question. Now, onto the next thing. Is there a way to make it easier to find the remaining Clan Guardians?" Asked Yudai. Harmonics Messiah let out an interesting *hmmm*.
"All I'm saying is I want to make sure we can find all of them in time for our final battle against the Void. I don't want to leave anything to chance."
"Very well." Harmonics Messiah touched Yudai's chondrite necklace and it began to glow.
"There. Now your necklace will attacks as a 'Clan Guardian Detector'. Whenever you get with 20 meters of an unknown Clan Guardian, your necklace will glow brighter and brighter depending on how close they are. Also, take these." Numerous blank cards and few with clan symbols on them flew out of Harmonics Messiah's staff and piled up into Yudai's hand.
"Each one of these cards has each clan's symbol on it, or at least will. Each time a clan's emblem is claimed, the blank card will gain a symbol, indicating that the Clan Guardian has joined you."
"That's great." Yudai bowed. "Thank you for all your help."
"No, thank you. As a token of my appreciation towards you and the other Defenders, please, accept these." Three cards levitated towards Yudai. They were G-Units: one for Roka, Kiniro and himself. After saying thank you and goodbye, Yudai disappeared in a pillar of light. Seconds later, a black and red shadow on the ground of the space manifested into a 3D form, then revealed a girl in a cloak as the shadows disappeared.
"What do we have here?" The girl said, approaching Harmonics Messiah. He turned around to face the voice. "The almighty Harmonics Messiah finishing a private chat with my big brother? I wonder what you were talking about." He narrowed his eyes at her, obviously not thrilled to see her.
"That is none of your concern, Servant of the Void, I have no business with you. What have you infiltrated my plane of subspace?" He asked, his voice full of spite.
"Oh, nothing much. Just a message from the Master. He says that it's time I made a move to counter your little project of trying to stop us. So you better be prepared." She said with a nasty smirk.
"This 'little project' of mine is the only way I can prevent a rerun of what happened three Earth years ago."
"You say that, but you know you can't defeat us. Soon enough, you, Earth, Cray, everything you hold dear will be exterminated. Anything I choose is worth keeping alive will become nothing more than one of these." He raised her hand, and a lock sphere formed in hand, the smirk on her face never leaving. "Like brother dearest, for example."
"Tell me, what is your goal in all this? That you would even take the life of your family." She put her finger to her cheek and stared into space, pretending to think.
"Goal? Don't have one. I only do as my Master commands of me. I don't care who I need to crush. Friend or Foe. Family or Stranger. When it comes down to it, they mean nothing to me?" She turned around, proceeding to leave.
"One last thing. According to the memories of the Defender of Space, it seems as though you should not be living. And yet....here you are. I only know of one other entity other than the Defenders who has my kind of power: The Power of Creation. So that must mean...you were recreated through Void using the power he stole from me. Am I correct, Yui Arashiko?" He deduced. She stopped in her tracks.
"Yes, that's is correct. However, remember this." Her voiced then changed, like a deeper voice was thrown behind it, as if she were possessed. Her hair became wilder and start to partially levitate. Her eyes when blank and red marks appeared on her face. A familiar red and black aura emanated from her body. "When I have finally defeated you, when gate have finally fully opened and my brethren wreak havoc on both worlds, the Power of Creation will become obsolete. And with that a new age shall begin! THE AGE OF DESTRUCTION AND THE REVIVAL OF THE ЯEVERSE!" The black and red aura engulfed her and she disappeared while cackling like a witch. When she disappeared, Harmonics Messiah sighed and sat down on his throne, deeply troubled.
"Unfortunately, things have escalated even more quickly than I anticipated. Defenders, your most difficult challenge is yet to come. And Yudai..." He looked of deep into subspace. "Are you truly prepared for what lies ahead of you?" Even still he smiled, despite the circumstances. "The future truly is a mysterious thing...."
