"Okay," Jennie breathes in, deep. "I understand where you're all coming from."

"I know we have a long way to go, Unnie, and I'm not closing my doors to being in the same company as you in the future," Rosie clarifies, "It's just that running my own company is such an intimidating idea for now when all I want is to be more creative and to own my works, which definitely means I have to make my own business decisions too, I know, but I want to take it one step at a time."

"True," Jisoo agreed, "And being in the same company when we have different goals would be a bit conflicting."

"I understand. And you, Lili?" Jennie turns to her girlfriend, "You've been quiet."

"I was just thinking..." Lisa looks at the girls one by one, looking hesitant and unsure, "I mean, I have no business background so it would be great to share the responsibility while we both learn. And Jennie's mom is a great businesswoman, I'm sure that will help."

Jennie's lips parted, facing her girlfriend now with an encouraged look on her face, "So you want to co-found a company with me? We'll be business partners?"

A smile played on Lisa's lips, "If that meant more time with you, and we get to do what we want, then why not?"

"That's like modern day arranged marriage, isn't it?" Jisoo chuckled, "Being business partners?"

"It's getting real now," Rosie comes to a realization, "Our contract renewal is coming and I can't wait for us to do what we had always wanted as individual artists... but what about Blackpink?"

"What about it? Disbanding isn't an option," Jisoo strongly lets out, intimidating each of her member with her beautiful but deadly gaze, "Whoever leaves the group will no longer see the light of the day, y'all hear me?"

Jennie giggles, while Lisa scratches the back of her head.

"Yah Unnie, that's a form of threat you know?" Lisa playfully complains.

"Why are you scared? Are you planning something?" Jisoo narrows her eyes like a detective.

"Whatever!"

"We're over if you leave the group by the way," Jennie lightly jokes, making Lisa pout.

"I would never, baby! Don't listen to Sooya!"

All the while, Rosé was fidgeting quietly until she couldn't help but to voice out her worries.

"But for real, it's scary to think what might happen... I know we're not breaking up but we'll be apart for a while, won't we?"

"Away but not apart, you know what I mean?" Jennie moved to hold the blonde's hand. "I trust you guys. I trust this family."

Lisa, watching her girlfriend console her bestfriend, felt a tug in her heart. She let out a shaky breath as she smiled at her members, "Yeah, this family over everything."

As days passed, the group busied themselves with their comeback preparations. Everyday they allot time for their group activities despite their individual schedules.

"You can do it babe," Jennie says, stopping Lisa from walking back and forth, "We'll have lots of practices. It's really just hard to sing live at first but we've always done our best in all our stages, come on..."

"Jennie, have you read what they've been saying about me?" Lisa's eyes turns bright red with unshed tears, "They're all just waiting for me to fuck up!"

"And you'll prove them wrong!" Jennie cups her face to force her to look her in the eye, "Lisa, if you can sing this song in the studio then you definitely can on stage too."
