The first quarter of the month is usually the most anticipated time of the year for the pinks and their blinks, unless the remaining months have something to do with music being released by the group.

And since Jisoo's birthday has passed, it is expected that the following chapters will be about birthdays. Today is all about Jennie's.

Lisa sent her a simple happy birthday message, nothing much since they're trying to make the whole friendship-only-silent-rule. They really are working on making things natural since they have to.

She's not seeing Jennie today though. It's their day off as they have been practicing nonstop for their upcoming online concert. Although she has greeted Jennie in advance earlier and she will be able to greet her again tomorrow, she wishes she could be there on her actual birthday.

Something Jennie's mom wouldn't appreciate and would break her own rules.

"I see her everyday, Leo," she tells her cat, who for the first time in a while seem to be in a calm manner while letting the Thai pet him on her lap, "The only day I wouldn't see her is today. Rosie's busy shooting her music video, Jisoo unnie's busy with her drama. I can actually see her unlike them, but..."

She dragged out a long sigh.

A message then popped up on her phone that's just beside her on the couch.

Her lips twisted into a smile while reading Jennie's reply.

From Jennie: Thanks lis. saw your birthday greeting on IG too. i was so touched omg

Now that's a sarcasm she wouldn't miss. Truth is, she waited for the clock to tick at 12 midnight only to do nothing but to repost the company's birthday greeting template without any message at all a few minutes later on.

From Jennie: Kidding. i dont really need words. i will always get the message even without you having to send one

And then another.

From Jennie: just know i'll be getting my revenge on your birthday

And it vibrated a couple more times.

From Jennie: *kidding

From Jennie: aaand now im spamming you ugh

Smiling wide, the Thai typed a response.

To Jennie: I was trying to be subtle okay :P With the friendship

From Jennie: Oh trust me it worked. our fans were probably surpprised we knew each other?

That earned a laughter from the Thai, bringing back Leo to his usual traumatized face as he jumped off her lap because of being startled.

To Jennie: Their replies are really funny I actually felt terrible for laughing at the ship sinking thing. And they got the sarcasm from you

From Jennie: Play fair and break chaelisa hearts too on rosie's birthday ;( haha jk

To Jennie: No I love you's on her birthday greeting then

Lisa was just typing how they sing it in English but Jennie's new text message halted her.
