Third Person POV
Theseus spent the next week watching the woman he loved slowly become someone he didn't recognise. She had delayed her Healer training by a month – which was all they would offer – and had spent her days sitting at the kitchen tables, eyes glued to the memories she had unwillingly forgotten. Theseus Scamander needed to do something about it.
"I just need you to watch her for a couple of hours," he told Jones at their front door.
The other Auror shook his head with a hand on his hip. "Nat is fully capable of taking care of herself."
"She's not..." Theseus trailed, hearing the small creak from upstairs. "... please Jones. It's complicated."
He rose his hand. "Sure thing. There's nothing I wouldn't do for that woman. She's under my skin."
Scamander took a deep breath, palming the vial of memories in his pocket. "Nat's hard not to love."
"Go," Jones urged, "before she wakes up."
He placed a hand on his shoulder. "Thank you." Theseus Scamander apparated to Hogwarts.

"You're going to answer some questions for me, or I'm going to have you arrested," Theseus warned, placing the small vial onto the Professor's desk.
Albus Dumbledore needed to do little more than glance at the memories before leaning back into his chair, hand against his chin. "On what charges?"
Theseus looked down on his, hands poised firmly against the desk. "Whatever I can fabricate evidence for."
Albus looked up at the man. "That's illegal."
Scamander paused. "Would you like me to repeat my threat? Or do you understand?"
"I understand."
"Grindelwald found our home," Theseus told him, noting the small shock in the older man's expression. "He talked to her when I wasn't home, he threatened her, reminded her of Credence and then gave her these. She's been in a state for a week, knowing that she needs to come to you but not having the strength to do it."
The Professor sighed. "Her body remembers even if her mind does not."
"What happened that has her so..." He was frustrated, anyone could see it, and Albus certainly could. "I don't know how to help her."
Albus stood, taking the small vial. "It's better if I show you, but Theseus..." He trailed, meeting the man's eyes. "...everything I have done has been to protect my family."
"I'll be the judge of that."

Natalia Clayton's POV
I woke alone, but I had expected to. A week since Grindelwald had found his way inside my home, I could find my mind on little else. I knew that I needed to get a hold on my emotions, on my fear, but it was much harder said than done.
I had never been scared of Gellert Grindelwald, never truly scared of him, but I had always met the monster on the battlefield. He had never taken the battle to me. The thought that he had found my home, that he had taken advantage of the back door we left open – which now remained firmly locked – and sat at that table until I arrived home...
