I rushed into the house, able to feel the dark wizard as I approached. Wand at the ready, I only planned to use it against Grindelwald and whatever face he masked himself with. I would not hurt Credence, not even if he tried to hurt me.

"Credence!" I called, panting as I hurried up the stairs. "Credence, where are you?"

"Please help me," his quiet, scared voice replied as I suddenly turned a corner.

He sat on the ground, arms wrapped around him as he all but rocked back and forth. I rushed to him without much thought, brushing by the body on the ground. It was only as I got closer that I noticed Graves beside him.

He smacked Credence harshly across the face, holding him by the scruff of the neck. "Your sister is in grave danger."

"Get your fucking hands off of him," I warned, pointing my wand towards Graves.

The pretender stood up slowly, turning to face me. He was surprised. "What are you doing here Miss Clayton?"

"Move away from Credence," I told him, taking a step closer. "If you even think about hurting him, I will kill you where you stand."

"I think we have a misunderstanding on our hands," he attempted, bringing his arms up into a defensive gesture. "You're confused."

"Now what am I confused about Mr. Graves?" I posed, making sure to annunciate the name. "Confused about how you tried to kill me or about how you have been disguising yourself as someone else for a long time?"

He titled his head. "I don't know what you mean Natalia, lets talk this over."

I shook my head, casting expelliarmus as he tried to grab his wand. It flew from his grasp. "I will not be fooled by you again... Gellert Grindelwald."

His attempts to move away from here were done and he licked his lips with a smile. "Who the hell are you?" There was more intrigue than anger to his tone, and that only irritated me more.

My hand shook slightly as he moved closer. "If you don't recognise me by name, you never will."

"How did you find us? I never disclosed the location of the orphanage," he continued.

I smiled then, countering him. "A wizard taught me how to track someone using their magic. I was only a child, but I was a brilliant listener." If there was more confusion to be had, Graves surely had it.

"Credence," I spoke up, turning my head to meet his gaze. "Come to me." Outstretching my other hand, I beckoned him towards me. "Credence, please."

He shook as he stood, but I could see that he was going to move as I told him to. I was too focused on making sure that he didn't trip that I didn't notice Graves summoning his wand to him and taking hold of Credence's arm.

"No!" I shouted, rushing forward as they apparated. They were gone before I could reach them.

I wasted no time in turning around, wand in hand and rushing from the building. It was crumbling around me, but it didn't matter as I cast the tracking spell. Grindelwald couldn't hide from me.

Following my wand, I ran as quickly as I could towards a small townhouse. As I hurried inside, I took the stairs two at a time. "Credence!"

I could hear the walls breaking, the rubble tumbling to the ground with a loud crash. I knew that it was Credence. I knew that he was about to bring this whole building down, but I didn't care. I had to get to him.
