Arias woke up to the gentle rays of sunlight streaming through the curtains, casting a warm glow over the room. As he stirred, he noticed the absence of Jenna beside him, her warmth and familiar presence missing from the bed. The quiet of the morning wrapped around him like a cozy blanket, but it felt different without her there.

He reached out, patting the sheets, hoping to feel the imprint of her still lingering warmth, but only the cool fabric greeted him. A sigh escaped his lips as he sat up, running a hand through his messy hair. Curious and slightly concerned, he grabbed his phone from the nightstand, the screen lighting up with a new message.

"Good morning! Sorry I couldn't be there when you woke up, but I was called into work. I did make you breakfast; it's in the microwave. Thank you for an unforgettable night. Talk to you soon ❤️"A smile spread across Arias's face. Jenna always had a way of making him feel special, and her thoughtful gesture warmed his heart. He loved how she remembered his favorite food—pancakes, with a hint of vanilla and a generous drizzle of maple syrup. Arias swung his legs over the side of the bed, the soft carpet comforting against his feet, and made his way to the kitchen.

The microwave hummed softly, and as he opened the door, the aroma of freshly made breakfast wafted towards him. On the plate was a stack of fluffy pancakes, perfectly golden, accompanied by a side of crispy bacon and a small dish of fresh berries. He chuckled lightly to himself, shaking his head in disbelief. Jenna always went the extra mile, even in the simplest of situations.

"Just when I thought I couldn't love you more," he whispered to himself as he sat down at the small kitchen table. He poured a generous amount of syrup over the pancakes, the sweet scent making his mouth water. With each bite, he savored not just the food but the thoughtfulness and care that came with it.

As he enjoyed his breakfast, memories of the night before flooded his mind—the laughter, the late-night conversations that stretched into the early hours, and the way they had simply lost track of time, basking in each other's company. A warmth enveloped him, a sense of connection that felt rare and precious.

After finishing his meal, Arias couldn't suppress the urge to text Jenna back. He wanted to let her know how much her surprise meant to him.  "Thanks for the breakfast! It was amazing, just like you. I loved every minute of last night. Can't wait to see you. Hope work goes well ❤️"

As he hit send, Arias felt a surge of gratitude for the relationship they were rebuilding. In a world so often filled with chaos, it was moments like these—simple, sweet, and genuine—that reminded him of what truly mattered. All he could do now was look forward to the next time he would hold Jenna close and create more unforgettable memories together. Arias walked to his balcony and looked out to the sky thinking of the moments between him and Jenna. Arias thought of first time he laid eyes on Jenna

Gus's voice crackled through the phone as I leaned back in the driver's seat. I was parked outside the store, the air heavy with anticipation and the faint scent of gasoline. "What time are we meeting at the warehouse tomorrow?" he asked.

"8 PM, no later than that," I replied, glancing at my watch. It was about 7:30, and I was waiting for one of my workers to pull up with the day's earnings. As I scrolled through my phone, trying to distract myself from the growing impatience, something caught my eye—a figure walking past my car. I lifted my gaze and saw a girl, no taller than five feet, with cascading dark black hair that danced in the evening breeze. She had a cute little mug, her features soft yet striking. I chuckled to myself as she walked with an air of confidence that belied her petite stature.

She strolled purposefully into the store just a few feet ahead of me. My gaze lingered, captivated by the way she turned to look back at the entrance, her eyes shimmering with a mixture of excitement and curiosity. It was the kind of moment that felt serendipitous, but before I could dive deeper into thoughts about this mysterious girl, a honk snapped me back to reality

The sound came from a rusted pickup truck pulling into the parking lot. My worker, Carl, stepped out with a paper bag in hand, the familiar crest of worry creasing his brow. "Is that all?" I called out, hoping he had more to show for the day.

"Yeah, but we sold some good stuff—made a decent profit," he said, already shifting the bag toward me. I took it, my mind still partly lingering on the girl. "Did you see that girl who just walked in?" I asked, tilting my head toward the store's entrance.Carl peeked over, then shrugged. "Nah, I was too focused on the job."

I shook my head slightly, trying to refocus on what was important. "Just keep your head in the game, man. We have a lot riding on tomorrow night" As we finalized our plans for the warehouse, I couldn't shake the feeling that my encounter with the girl was not just a fleeting moment. The clock ticked closer to 8 PM.

Just when I thought I would settle into the usual routine, the girl re-emerged from the store, a bag in hand. For a split second, our eyes met, and she looked away as if she didn't notice me. She turned and walked away with a smile on her beautiful face There was something magnetic about her smile, something that made me inexplicably want to know her story.

But before I could react, she walked down the street. "Hey!" I called out, half hoping she'd stop. She continued on her way, leaving me with a strange mix of exhilaration and regret. "Dude, what are you doing?" Carl asked, watching me."Nothing, just..." I trailed off, the words lost in the tailwind of my thoughts. We had bigger fish to fry, and I couldn't afford distractions

The hours stretched ahead, filled with the usual banter about tough deals and shady practices. But amid all that, I found myself looking out for her, wondering what her connection to this place might be. As 9 PM approached and we prepared to lock up, I found my gaze drifting to the street again, feeling that odd sense of longing that sometimes life throws at you unexpectedly."I gotta run," Carl said, glancing at his phone. "See you tomorrow."

Once I was alone,  the weight of the night heavy on my shoulders. My mind went back to her, her beautiful smile and the way she walked like she owned the street she was an interesting girl. As I started the car up I noticed the girl walking back up to the store this time dressed like she worked there, a few minutes later the owner came out

"Jenna make sure to lock up to do inventory" he said to her I didn't hear her but I knew she replied the man walked away  she works overnights I couldn't leave something told me to stay around and I did I couldn't if I did and something happened to her and I wouldn't forgive myself if something did
