Damon's POV

Mmm, that girl was...delicious; A nice midnight snack. Stupid teens wandering around in the woods in the middle of the night all alone. Haven't they seen any scary movie... ever.

"Vicki? Vicki!" I heard someone calling out. Ooh, looks like another treat has just arrived. I vamped behind a tree and watched a girl running through my fog parlor trick. She was stunning, I couldn't take my eyes off of her. She tripped over my latest victim and hit her head on a large rock. She was bleeding profusely, and as I rushed in front of her, she passed out. I bent down and brushed a piece of hair out of her face. But then I heard the all to familiar voice of the Katherine-look-alike, and I took one last glance at the beauty in front of me before I vamped towards the boarding house to wait for baby bro.

Elena's POV

"Jeremy?! Jeremy!" I called after him, as we walked further into the woods.

"I don't wanna hear it!" He yelled with out looking back at me.

"Too bad!" I was getting sick of this phase he was going through. Suddenly, Jeremy fell to the ground, tripping over something also came to an immediate halt.

"Holy shit, Vicki?! Vicki!" He calls out. As he starts to scoot away he bumps into something else. I look at what he bumped into

"Oh my god, Lydia!" I screamed. Suddenly, Vicki lets out a huge gasp and her eyes shoot open. Jeremy stays with her as I rush down to my sister's side. I started to shake her shoulders. "Lyd...Lyd, come on. You gotta wake up. Lyd please..." I started getting teary eyed. I can't lose another person I love.

"Elena! You gotta get her, I'll carry Vick, ok?"

"Ok." I said, and picked up my baby sister. After a couple minutes I could see the light of the bonfire in front of us. "Help! Somebody help!" I called out.

"What the hell-Vicki! Lyd! Somebody call 911!" I lay Lyd down, as does Jeremy with Vicki. Tyler rushed up through he crowd.

"Everybody back up! Give them some room! What happened to the them?" Tyler turned to me and Jer.

"Well, with Vicki, it's her neck. Something bit her. It's bad, she's losing a lot of blood. And Lyd, it's her head. Oh god, it won't stop bleeding."

Stefan's POV

I'm not sure what happened to Lydia, but after seeing Vicki, I knew it was a vampire attack. I left straight for the boarding house when everyone was focused on the victims.

"What's going on?" I heard Zach say when I walked through the door.

"Someone else was attacked tonight, Zach, and it wasn't me." I yelled over my shoulder as I jogged up to my room. When I got there, a crow flew past me, and I knew just who was behind all the caps tonight. "Damon." I said as I turned around to face my estranged brother.

"Hello brother."

"Crow a bit much, don't you think?" I said, already not looking forward to this conversation.

"Wait till you see what I can do with the fog."

"When'd you get here?"

"Well, I couldn't miss your first day of school. Your hairs different. I like it."

"It's been fifteen years Damon."
