When I fell asleep
One time when I was ill
Most of my dream was me
Being sick still
But then it suddenly passed
When you finally came
And as we sat together
The pain went away
We sat watching movies
Or we sat on swings
We sat in the grass
As we laughed at stupid things
You played with my hair
My head in your lap
But then I woke up
It ended. Just like that.
So I was so sad
To see it was all just a dream
The real world was a nightmare
Or, that's how it seemed
But oh god did I miss you
You seemed so far away
And I'm hoping the real world, the one with you
Doesn't end the same way
