Chapter 14

I was closely grabbing Tienn's waist as we went to the party hall. There are lots of men and women checking her out and I just hate it that's why I do not want to let her get out of my grip.

"Jhie, there's my father's shareholders. I need to go to them."

"I'll go with you." Sabi ko rito, hindi pa rin kumbinsido na bitawan siya.

"It's okay, your friends might be looking for you." Hindi na ako nakipagtalo pa nang marahan niyang alisin ang kamay ko sa beywang niya.

I watched her go near a group of men and women with different ages.

"Babe!" I felt a kiss on my cheeks.

"Didn't know you'll attend." Ray said as soon as he got my attention.

"Stupid, it's her best friend's party. Why wouldn't she?" Gail rolled her eyes.

"Kasi lagi siyang tinatamad—? Aray!" I slapped his arm.

"Ikaw Jhie tsumatsansing ka, gusto mo lang mahawakan biceps ko e. Sabihin mo lang pwede naman tayong umalis na—,"

"Gago!" Sinapak ko siyang muli sa braso niya.

"Ladies and gentlemen the heiress of Rianzares Group of Companies, Lady Rhianne Ghell Rianzares." We all clapped our hands with the sudden announcements.

I excused myself from them so I could go near Violett and the others.

"Jhie! Finally nagpakita ka rin! Akala ko hindi ka pupunta e." Rendon said.

"OA mo!" Violett said.

I sat beside Uriel who silently handed me a glass of wine that I gladly took.

"How are you?" He asked coldly. Uriel's the most quiet in the circle but definitely the most caring one.

"Still breathing." I said as I sip on my glass of wine.

The Lady's now doing her speech and I can't seem to focus as I noticed the table beside ours is where Tienn is sitting with the shareholders of their company.

"I heard your Dad came home a few times?" Uriel whispered. I just shrugged, wanting him to get the idea that I don't like talking about it.

"Where's Ricky?" I asked.

"Maybe making out in one of the rooms or comfort rooms?" He said. Napailing na lamang ako.

"You're not with your boyfriend?" Uriel asked.

"Yel, he's not my boyfriend. How many times do we have to talk about it?" Inirapan ko siya.

"Fvck buddy I mean."

"Yel..." Hindi na siya muling nagsalita pa.

When we were in Junior High School, Uriel confessed his feelings for me but I did not like the idea of entertaining him. He's a very good friend and I want him to stay like that. He's like a brother to me.

The moment Lady Rhianne finished her speech, she went directly to our table. Her body, walk, and heels screaming sexiness and sophistication. An elegant woman who's always been a head turner, and someone you'll always bow to.

"Jhie... It's good that you're here." Tumango lamang ako sa sinabi niya.

This party welcomes Lady Rhianne coming back from a trip to Singapore and France, earning the title of Top Businesswoman in Asia, and successfully earning another investor from France. Indeed a woman who deserves to be on top, and has been eagerly pursued by many bachelors but a woman, particularly the sister of her ex-fiancé caught her attention.

"Your fiancé's here." Sabi ko rito.

"Is Yenna here?" Mabilis na umikot ang tingin niya sa paligid pero bigo siyang makita ang hinahanap.

"I don't think so. Si Kinn lang ang nakita ko kanina." Si Lei ang sumagot na kasalukuyan nanamang nakadantay kay Rendon. Napakalandi talaga ng dalawang ito.

"Kainis, babanatan ko talaga ang isang 'yon. I told him to bring Yenna." Napailing na lamang ako sa tinuran niya.

I was eating peacefully while still stealing glances at Tienn when the man beside her started rubbing his hand on her arm down her elbow. Wtf? Who gave him the permission to do that?

Padabog kong ibinaba ang kutsarang hawak ko.

"What?" Violett asked.

"Restroom lang ako."

I went to the restroom and opened my phone.

Few minutes later, the woman appeared in front of me.

"Jhie? Are you okay?" She asked.

"Who's that guy?" I asked.

"Huh?"

"The guy beside you, holding you—shit." I closed my eyes and tried to calm myself.

"Anak siya ng kaibigan ni Daddy. Why?"

"And you let him touch you? Akala ko ba hindi ka ganoong klase ng babae? Na you don't know how to be touched by men? Why are you even asking me for help kung alam mo naman palang magpahawak sa kung sinong lalaki—," I stopped.

Her eyes are bloody red, I guess my left cheek too. She slapped me hard.

"That guy's the only friend I had. He was my childhood friend. You think he's flirting with me? He's trying to comfort me after I told him about those girls at Grandéton and told me he'll do something about it. You think that's something filthy? Right, maybe I don't need you at all if that's how you see me." Mariin niyang sabi, kitang kita ko kung paano manginig ang labi niya't mga kamay.

She left me inside the restroom and I wanted to just throw myself at the wall. Damn it, Jhie. You're insane.

I went out after that and burrowed one of the Lady's cars. She lent me one and I drove towards the nearest club. I grabbed my phone and texted Raylon and asked him to come but I got shocked with what I received.

Babe, I just got out of the party with Jaile, that first year student you knew. I saw her crying and I'm dropping her off her house.

Wow, Ray. Just wow. She's not your type, dude. She's definitely not your type. What the hell are you doing?

Monday morning, I was staring nowhere the moment I got to the university. I'm sitting in my usual spot with Gail and Kel.

"First year? Seryoso ka ba, Kel?" Rinig kong gulat na tanong ni Gail.

"Oo nga, bingi ka ba? Sabi ni Ray magaling daw 'yung babae. He said he might do it again with her." Natatawang sabi ni Kel.

Ano bang pinag-uusapan ng mga 'to?

"Gago talaga 'yon. Dalawang gabi na sila noong babae diba? Since Saturday night, 'yung night ng party ni Lady Rhianne? Doon niya ba nakuha 'yung babae?" Nagpanting ang tainga ko sa narinig ko kay Gail.

"Yeah, the woman looks so innocent at first daw, may plano palang magpakama." Muling tumawa si Kel.

"What the fvck... did you say, Kel?" I slowly turned my gaze at him.

"Ano ba naman Jhie, kanina pa kami nag-uusap hindi ka pala nakikinig nang maayos tapos—,"

"I told you to repeat what you just said."

"'Yung first year na nameet daw ni Ray sa party ni Lady Rhianne, mukha raw inosente pero nagpapaawa effect daw pala tapos ayon inuwi niya na 'yung babae alam mo na, 2 nights and 1 day silang magkasama since Saturday night."

Damn you, Ray.
