"Ayoko, Violett." Bungad ko nang dumating si Violett sa bahay, alas diyes ng umaga.
It's Sunday and all I wanna do is lay down all day.
"Girl, few hours na lang party na oh?" Inirapan ako nito.
"Asan ba ang kakambal mo at ako ang ginugulo mo?"
"She's having her nails done. Sabi niya sumunod raw tayo. She knows you're not gonna prepare for the party later." Sabi nito at tinulak ang paa ko para makaupo siya sa dulo ng sofa na hinihigaan ko.
"I don't wanna come." Sabi ko as I changed channels sa TV dahil ang totoo, bored lang ako't wala namang mapanood.
"'Te, gusto mo bang si Lady mismo ang sumugod rito?" Pagbanggit niya pa lang kay Lady na siyang nanay ko yata at the moment, tumayo na ako't padabog na iniwan si Violett. Tawang tawa naman ang gaga sa pakana niya.
I took a bath at naabutan si Violett na nakakunot na ang noo't nakikipagtalo sa kausap niya.
"Ito na, bihis na siya. 'Kala mo naman ikaw may pa-party." Mukhang ang kakambal niya ang kausap niya.
"You're so tagal, inip na inip na si Maj." Si Magenta na kakambal niya.
Sumunod nga kami sa kakambal niya sa salon na pinuntahan nito. We saw Magenta still having her nails done. Kung makareklamo naman ang isang ito, akala ko'y tapos na siya.
"Tagal niyo, inaaway ko na 'yung kasunod na nagreserve kay Deila. Ang aga aga niya may 30 mins pa naman noong dumating siya tapos gusto i-start na siya." Magenta said, talking about the woman she reserved for us, I think.
"Ma'am, pwede na po ba tayong magstart? May kasunod po kasing nagreserve by 5pm, 4:40 na po." Sabi noong si Deila. She gestured to the woman sitting on the sofa far away from us with a magazine covering her face.
The woman slowly removed the magazine and I saw the cute marshmallow's creased forehead.
I slowly smiled and made my way to her.
"Ma'am!"
Pinitik ko nang marahan ang noo ni Tienn.
"Aww!" She slowly looked at me and had her eyes widened.
"Jhie!" She excitedly said, brought the magazine down and stood up. Muntik pa siyang matumba dahil sa mataas na takong niya't masyadong excited niyang pagtayo.
"Careful." I said as I held her waist to help her balance herself.
"What are you doing here? Are you getting your hair done?" She excitedly asked.
"Nah, my nails. Ayoko nga e. But those twins are bugging me to do it." I said as I look at the twins, currently confused.
"Oh, that girl, tinarayan niya ako kanina! You know her? I asked lang naman if pwede akong mauna since wala pa 'yung nakareserve, she said so many things na, nakakainis!" And there goes her cute creased forehead again.
"Wait, meaning ikaw 'yung nakareserve before me?" She suddenly realized and I nodded.
"You can go first. I don't wanna do it anyway." I said as I pulled her closer to them.
"Do hers. I'll just pay the cancellation fee." I said.
"Jhiezzel!" Sinamaan ko na ng tingin si Violett pero inirapan niya lamang ako at wala na ring nagawa. Lumapit na siya sa isang babae pang mag-aasikaso sa kaniya.
I just chose to have my hair and make up done for the party. Halos sabay sabay rin kaming natapos dahil nagpaayos pa rin ng buhok si Magenta habang si Violett din ay nagpapaayos.
"Kuya, hindi talaga kaya? My Dad would get mad at me 'pag nalaman niyang nalate ako!" I looked at how frustrated Tienn is. She excused herself to call her driver. Pinagsabay na niya ang hair and make up, and nails niya. Hindi ko alam kung ano rin ang mayroon kung bakit siya nagpaayos.
I went near her.
"What's wrong?" I asked as I touched her arm to calm her down. I felt her stiffen.
"Ha? Ano, nasiraan daw si Kuya Rodge. He's about to fetch me to get my dress at Hannah's, then go to the Rianzares party." I was shocked when she mentioned that. She's going to the same party as we are.
"C'mon, let's go."
"Ha?"
"Tara na." I pulled her and went near Magenta and Violett who just finished paying.
"She's coming with us."
"What?" Magenta raised an eyebrow. Nilabanan ko ang titig niya hanggang sa bawiin niya iyon.
"Go with Violett." She said and started walking first.
I felt Tienn's hand on my arm.
"She... doesn't like me." She said as she looks at Magenta.
"Nah girl, she's like that to everyone. Oh wait, does that mean she doesn't like us?" Violett said.
"Vy!" Saway ko rito.
"I was kidding." She laughs. Napailing iling na lamang ako.
"Let's drop by at Hannah's, she has to get her dress." Tumango naman si Violett as she changed our way.
Nang makarating kami sa Hannah's ay nakita rin namin si Kinn. It's the Lady's ex fiancé, who also happened to be the brother of the girl the Lady likes.
"Jhie." Tinanguan ko lamang ito.
"You're attending the party?" Violett asked when we saw him holding a box of what I think is a suit.
"Of course. Wouldn't miss it for the world. She's my ex-fiancé after all." He said as he smirked. Loko rin talaga ang isang ito. Hindi ko nga alam kung totoong hindi niya rin gusto si Lady Rhianne dahil madalas siyang magbiro na para bang gusto niya si Lady.
When we got the dress, doon na namin pinagbihis si Tienn sa mansion ng mga Rianzares, naroon din naman kasi ang mga damit namin.
Tienn was looking at herself in a full-length mirror when I got to the room the Lady gave her.
"Let me." I whispered as I went near her. I put her hair in front of her chest as I touched the bottom of the zipper of her dress, pulling it up slowly. I felt my hand trembling as it made contact with her bareback.
What the fvck, pull yourself together, Jhie.
She's wearing a starry night-inspired fitted dress that emphasizes her curve. It's a floor dress and backless. It's sexy that it's very different to her usual cute pink dresses.
"You look gorgeous." I said as I stared directly at her eyes in the mirror. From her zipper, my hand slides down her hips. Damn, I want her to stay by my side the whole night.
"Breathe, Tienn. I'm not taking your breath away. Don't forget to breathe when you're around me." I said and planted small kisses on her ear.
"Jhie..."
"You're a hot marshmallow tonight and... I like it."
