The players stood frozen, staring at the familiar figure before them-the second manager of Blue Lock. Their faces were a mix of shock, disbelief, uncertainty, and even ridicule.

Seishiro's eyes widened the moment he saw you. His heartbeat surged in his chest, pounding so loudly it drowned out everything else. His breath hitched, and before he even realized it, his hands started trembling.

His mind was racing.

Brother... you...

A storm of emotions swirled inside him-confusion, hesitation, and something else, something deeper. A part of him wanted to rush forward, to say something, to ask a million questions, but his body refused to move. It felt surreal, almost like a dream he hadn't woken up from yet.

But before the tension could suffocate the room any further, Raichi's voice cut through the silence like a blade.

"You've gotta be joking, right?" He scoffed, crossing his arms. "He's supposed to replace Ryusei Shidou? A manager?"

His words sent a ripple of doubt through some of the players.

One of them glanced at you hesitantly before speaking up. "You're just a manager... do you even know how to play football?"

The uncertainty spread like wildfire. Whispers, skeptical glances, uneasy frowns-doubt seeped into the room, growing heavier with each second.

"He's never even been on the field, has he?"

"How the hell is he supposed to replace Shidou?"

"This has to be some kinda joke, right?"

The air was thick with distrust, the weight of their expectations and cynicism pressing down on you. Their eyes were locked onto you, waiting-challenging you-to prove them wrong.

The tension in the air was thick, but not everyone was completely doubtful.

Chigiri, for one, was genuinely stunned. His sharp red eyes widened as he took in your presence. You? On the field? It wasn't that he thought you were useless-far from it. But he had never once considered the idea of you playing. You had always been a shadow, someone observing from the sidelines, an enigma that seemed untouchable. The thought of you stepping onto the pitch? It was almost absurd. Almost.

Bachira, on the other hand, was the complete opposite. His golden eyes sparkled with excitement, a grin spreading across his face. "Heh~ interesting!" He loved surprises, the kind that came out of nowhere and flipped the script. And this? You, suddenly playing, stepping in like it was no big deal? This was exactly the kind of thing that got his blood pumping. His monster was practically purring in curiosity.

Isagi, however, felt a bead of sweat roll down his temple. His analytical mind was already working overtime, trying to process what this meant. Ego wouldn't just throw someone in without a reason-especially you. If you were here, it meant you were capable of something. But what? What had Ego seen in you? What were you hiding?

Rin's sharp gaze locked onto you, his expression unreadable, but something in his chest shifted. It was subtle, barely noticeable-even to himself-but it was there.

His grip on his sleeve tightened slightly. What the hell was this feeling?

Rin's eyes narrowed. He didn't like surprises. He didn't like things he couldn't predict. And right now, you were something unknown. It irritated him more than it should.

His mind told him not to care. That it didn't matter. That you were just another obstacle to overcome.

But for some reason, his heart wasn't so sure.
