You stand at the edge of the Paris X Gen training field, arms loosely crossed, golden eyes focused on the chaos unraveling in front of you.
On the pitch?
Rin Itoshi and Ryusei Shido.
Tearing into each other like rabid dogs.
No restraint. No coordination. Just pure, reckless aggression.
Their aura clashes so violently, it's honestly impressive the turf hasn't caught fire. You glance sideways at the man standing next to you-Julian Loki, as calm and infuriatingly unbothered as always. He's watching the madness
With a tilt of your head, you ask lazily,
"How do you even put up with those two maniacs?"Loki lets out a soft laugh-light, charming, way too composed.
"Mm... well, if you ignore the sudden-onset migraines, it's not that bad."Then-
A single vein pulses on his forehead.
Still smiling, he adds with deadly softness,
"Though sometimes, I do fantasize about exterminating Shido with a very large can of bug spray.
Sadly... he's not a bug."You take a cautious step away from the subtle black aura radiating off him.
"...Right. Good to know," you mutter, eyes narrowing slightly.
"But seriously-putting homicide aside-how's their game?"Loki exhales, smile fading just a touch as his expression sharpens.
"They're monsters," he says simply. "Pure, raw power. But..."
He watches as Rin barely avoids a flying kick from Shido, both of them shouting curses mid-dribble.
"They have zero chemistry. Not even a drop."His eyes darken slightly.
"I need a solution. Some way to force cooperation between two apex predators who'd rather kill each other than pass the ball."You hum with fake sympathy, voice dry.
"Aww, man. That's rough. I feel so bad for you."Without missing a beat-and with the same elegant poise of a prince at a gala-Loki raises his middle finger.
"Then why don't you help me out, Yoshiro," he says smoothly,
"and relieve some of this stress before I turn into one of them."You raise an eyebrow.
Smirk slowly forming."Was that a request... or a threat?"
Loki smiles.
Unbothered.
Unholy."...Yes."
Loki's smirk lingers, but you catch the flicker of something curious behind those mischievous eyes.
You tilt your head slightly, thoughtful now-watching Rin and Shido nearly body-slam each other in the background like it's a UFC cage match and not a football training session.
Then, casually-almost like an afterthought-you say,
"How about this..."
Loki glances at you.
You meet his gaze, voice calm but just a bit warm:
"After you're done here... we leave Blue Lock. Just for a while.
Take a walk in the city. Breathe a little."For a second, Loki doesn't answer.
His expression doesn't change much-but something shifts.
The tension in his shoulders eases.
The ever-present mask of control softens... just slightly. He looks back at the field, then at you again.
There's a faint sparkle in his eyes now. Not teasing. Not sarcastic.
Just quietly... intrigued."Hmph.
A tempting offer," he murmurs.
Then, lips curling once more into that familiar, fox-like smile,
"And here I thought you weren't the type to ask someone out, Yoshiro."
