A few minutes after the goal…
The entire Blue Lock training ground felt like it froze over.
And then—
BZZZT.A robotic female voice echoed over the speakers, crisp and cold:
"With the goal scored by Rensuke Kunigami, the final result is: 3 to 2."
"The winner of this match... Bastard München."
Silence cracked.
And then the sideline erupted.
“YEEEAAHHHH!”
Raichi jumped to his feet, veins popping, fists in the air.
“THAT’S HOW WE DO IT, BABYYYY!”
Igarashi screamed something incomprehensible, practically doing cartwheels on the bench.
Even Hiori, quiet and composed, smiled softly and gave a slow clap.
But on the pitch?
Kunigami dropped down after his monster shot, landing like a beast crashing back to earth.
His chest heaved. His shoulders were tight. His jaw—clenched so hard you could hear his teeth grinding.
The second his boots touched grass, he turned—and stormed toward Isagi.
His head was slightly bowed, those wild orange bangs covering his eyes, but the tension radiating off him?
Nuclear.
Every step he took was heavy, dangerous.
And then he stopped—just a few feet in front of Isagi.
His voice came out low. Cold. Rough like it’d been scraped through gravel.
“...Isagi.”
“Why’d you pass to me?”
His tone was low. Controlled.
But colder than before—like a blade just pulled from ice.He took a step closer, his orange eyes shadowed beneath his messy orange bangs.
“Don’t think…”
“…for one damn second, that I owe you anything because of that.”
Isagi wiped the sweat off his face with the back of his wrist, expression sharp.
No surprise. No hesitation. He met Kunigami’s eyes with a slight scowl.
“Wasn’t any deep reason.”
“I needed a result, and that was the best move to get it.”His voice cut like flint.
“Don’t twist it. I didn’t do it for you.”
“I used you.”
Kunigami’s eyes narrowed—no rage, just that quiet burn behind his stare.
Isagi slowly pushed himself up off the turf, brushing off dirt and grass as he rose to his full height.
He didn’t look smug.
He looked calculated.
Dead serious.
“Neither of us could’ve scored that goal alone.”
He locked eyes with Kunigami again, sharp and unwavering.
