An hour later, the meeting was over.

The tension in the room had only thickened—heavy, charged, like a storm had passed but hadn’t quite left. One by one, the boys filed out of the meeting room. No one said a word. No jokes. No idle chatter. Just tight jaws, clenched fists, and eyes burning with something dark and hungry.

You stood off to the side, arms crossed, watching them disappear down the hall like silent wolves.

Then, quietly, you stepped beside Ego.

“So…” you muttered, eyes still on the door, “you really think they can grasp this whole Flow thing?”

Ego didn’t answer right away. He stared down at his tablet, fingers tapping absently on the screen. His face didn’t twitch. Not even a blink.

“I know they can,” he said at last, voice flat. “Some of them already have.”

You glanced at him, but he kept his eyes on the screen.

“They tapped into it—without even realizing it. But that’s not enough.”

Then he finally looked up. His cold eyes met yours.

You gave a small nod, thinking it over. Then, with a curious tone, you asked,
“And what about me being on the field?”

Ego’s stare didn’t waver.

“I’ve got a plan for you, Yushiro.”

Your brow raised, suspicion slipping into your expression. “A plan, huh?”

You sighed, shaking your head with a tired smirk.
“Just don’t drag me into some dumb mess, alright?”

“Stay sharp,” he said simply. “That’s all.”

You muttered under your breath, “Why do I get the feeling I am the mess...?”

..................

You stepped into your room, the door clicking shut behind you with a quiet thud.

Without even thinking, you flopped down onto your bed, arms sprawled, eyes staring up at the ceiling. The day had been long. Your brain was fried.

BZZZ... BZZZ.

Your phone buzzed on the nightstand.

With a half-hearted grunt, you reached over and grabbed it. The screen lit up. Two new messages... from a contact labeled "My Love".

You blinked.

Eyebrow arched.

“…‘My Love’?” you muttered to yourself, squinting at the name. “Wait—who the hell…?”

Then it clicked.

Your eyes widened a little, a soft groan escaping your lips as realization dawned.

He changed his name again.

You unlocked your phone, already bracing for the chaos.

My Love:
hey Yushirooooo~
how’s my precious boy doing?
didn’t you miss your boyfriend just a little?

You stared at the screen in silence. Deadpan.

“…Unbelievable,” you mumbled.

With a dramatic sigh, you opened the contact info, tapped on Edit Name, and with absolutely zero hesitation changed it from “My Love” to:
