The stadium... straight-up lost its damn mind. One second, dead silence.
The next-
BOOM.A tidal wave of noise crashed through the stands.
Fans were screaming, some falling over their seats, others grabbing their hair like, "What the HELL just happened?!"
Drinks flew. Hats launched. A dude in the front row looked like he saw a UFO.And up in the commentator's booth?
The announcer just froze, jaw hanging.
"W-Wait... WHAT?!"
"WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?!"
He blinked, leaned into his mic like he didn't trust his own eyes.
"Ladies and gentlemen... I-uh-what did we just witness?! This-this is unreal!"
"Number 13 from Japan's U-20 team... Ryusei Shido..."
He took a shaky breath, still watching the replay on screen.
"With that INSANE goal... has just put U-20 in the lead!"
His co-commentator, wide-eyed and speechless for a second, finally muttered:
"That wasn't just a shot, man... that was a full-blown riot in football form."
And down on the pitch-
Shido stood there near the box, right in front of the stands.
Arms spread wide like wings.
Head tilted back just a little. He let the madness wash over him-like a fallen angel basking in the chaos.
And that grin...
That crooked, devilish, I-just-burned-the-world grin...
Yeah. He knew exactly what he'd just done.
And he loved it.
Sae barely even looked impressed.
He gave Shido a glance-calm, cool, unreadable.
"We're only one goal ahead. Don't drop your guard."
His voice was flat, but there was steel behind it.
Meanwhile, on the sideline, Bachira ran a hand through his messy hair and let out a quiet sigh.
"Tch... damn. They're ahead now."
He sounded chill... almost detached.
But if you looked closer-
His fingers were trembling.
Niko, watching from midfield, took a moment before speaking.
Eyes flicking between Shido and Sae.
"...What a dangerous duo."
Isagi, still catching his breath, narrowed his eyes at Shido.
That shot... it was insane.
Brutal. Wild. Unpredictable. His freekick... it wasn't just skill. It was animal instinct.
His brain started rewinding the play in slow motion.
Shido... he analyzed all our movements-he studied us. Then attacked when we were off balance.
But something about it didn't add up.
