Players from both teams jogged into formation, boots echoing against the turf like war drums.
The tension was thick-electric.
Across the field, Bachira spotted the new arrival and tilted his head, yellow eyes gleaming with playful fire.
A grin split his face.
"Welcome to the party, Isagi," he murmured under his breath, bouncing on the balls of his feet, already thrilled by the idea of chaos meeting strategy.
He could feel it-
That familiar pull.The challenge.
The fun.
And next to Isagi-
Kaiser turned just slightly, his ice-blue eyes trailing to the boy beside him.
A low smirk tugged at the corner of his mouth.
"Heh... Yoichi Isagi," he thought silently, just a flicker of interest, of tension.
Meanwhile, Isagi rotated his shoulders, slowly warming up his body, keeping his gaze locked forward.
Every nerve in his system buzzed with purpose.
This used to be a dream...
To stand shoulder to shoulder with my idol-Noel Noa.
He inhaled sharply, chest rising.
But now...
His hand clenched.
Eyes focused.Heartbeat steadying.
I'm here.
Right beside him.
And I won't waste a second of it.
Then-
The whistle tore through the air.
And everything snapped into motion.
The field erupted.
Bodies surged.
Voices shouted.
Boots collided with turf in a rhythmic storm.Isagi ran.
Head up. Eyes wide.
His brain kicked into overdrive-calculating angles, movement, field placement, breathing in the game like oxygen.Three minutes.
That's all I have.
"Three minutes to prove the name-Yoichi Isagi-means something."
He moved with purpose, like a blade sharpened by obsession.
The air crackled.
On one side of the pitch-Lavinho, grinning like a devil in disguise, the ball rolling lazily under his foot.
On the other-Noel Noa, calm and still, a storm waiting to strike.
Their eyes met.
The two strikers-giants in their craft, polar opposites in philosophy-stood face to face.
Lavinho's wild energy practically hummed in the air around him.
Noa's icy focus pressed back like gravity.
Lavinho's voice rang out with his signature mischief.
"Try your best, cyborg," he said, tapping the ball forward casually.
"You'll never take my freedom from me."
Noa's gaze narrowed, tracking every twitch of Lavinho's body.
