Past: After Meeting
Piecks POV
Walking out of the meeting with Historia and Armin, annoyance clouds my brain. The nerve she had to blame me for that Ymirs death. Like her people didn't kill half of mine and 80% of humanity. I may not know ymir but I know death, and Ive experienced plenty, just like her.

Although, the other half of me knows Im keeping a lot more to myself than I care to share. A big reason I came here wasn't just to ask Reiner about Gregory and Nolans connections, or to help Eren. I mean the Idea that I was helping Clara since she saved my life would've been a better excuse but even I was hiding the fact my curiosity got the best of me. I wanted to meet him. See with my own eyes if Nolan is truly the person I met all those years ago.

Walking down the carpeted hall to find someone who could guide me to Gabby and Falco's room. With every step my attention wonders out of the windows into dusky night, their is a full view to the front of the castle where the lights shine brightly along its courtyard to be able to see every corner for I assume better visuals for guarding. Pausing I see Jean standing outside talking to a carriage driver.

Finding myself curious I stare a little longer til a voice takes my attention "Are you looking for something Madame?" The butler ask. To my relief I face the same butler that guided Falco and Gabby away earlier.

"Yes, I was looking for the guest you escorted away earlier." I explain, while his brows pinch with a hint of suspicion but I say nothing. Knowing full well that no matter what you do for people, they will never fully trust you if you do one thing bad. In my case, I do not trust anyone here either except for maybe...

I glance one more time out of the window to look at Jean who is no longer there, and continue to follow the butler. Reaching the room, Falco answers the door with his genuine smile etched on his lips "About time you got here." Gabby says from behind Falco on the bed.

With a nod of the butler, he leaves us as I step in "My apologies, I didn't think it was urgent." I tease as I glance the room, big enough for a king size bed, two side tables, a white fabricated chair in the corner near the window, and a empty large wooden wardrobe for the anticipated guest.

Gabby frowns, adjusting herself to sit criss cross on the fluffy white sheets, obviously comfortable within them "Was our glance not urgent enough for you? Geez, you've really left your military life behind you..." she grumbles, tying up her, just below the shoulders length hair.

I move to sit on the chair in the corner, as Falco joined Gabby on the bed "Don't worry about me, its all engraved in here." I say, pointing to my head "Just a little out of shape sometimes" I chuckle to myself "so tell me, what was so important that you couldn't tell them." I lean into my elbows on my legs, curious on what was truly so important that they went through so much trouble to get here. Even Im not dumb enough to think they wouldn't already know that we were aware the enemy was coming.

Falco's blue eyes grow worried as he stares at me, then swallows, looking towards Gabby to start "Remember in the meeting that we mentioned our Rebel group named Ace, well we were originally going to attempt to take Nolan out ourselves but we overheard his Plans instead." She pauses "well at least Falco did" her eyes meet his.

Falco sighs, "It was intense really. I was hidden in a wall but he pulled me out like it was nothing." He looks down at his hands "But when he touched me, I got sucked into a Pathes. Though it wasn't like the one eren took us to. It was more like a red desert." He continues to explain the layout until he has to pause for another breath "But Nolan was in front of me. Showing the past of the Casters with a touch of a finger to my forehead but then when I saw you and saw you were connected I couldn't believe it."

I sit back in the chair, crossing my legs "Yes, I knew him but that isnt of any significance to the situation of war." My face goes stern, not understanding where he is getting at.
