Their luxurious breakfast looked tempting and Ragini stuffed her mouth with all those delicacies while Sparsh kept looking at his wife and wondered what could be the reason behind all her lies and betrayal. He wanted to directly confront her about it but he was scared, he was scared of her answer. He was afraid of losing her.

Five days of their honeymoon went by and it was their last day in Portugal. They had their flight at night. For the past few days, Sparsh had been fighting his urge to confront Ragini. He couldn't even imagine his life without her, he loved her and couldn't let her go.

"She loves me," he said to himself thousand times a day. He could neither comprehend the situation nor believe that his wife and brother were cheating on him. He didn't wanna ruin her excitement on their honeymoon trip so he didn't let her feel any change in his behaviour. He wanted to cherish those memories, after all, he knew he couldn't escape that situation forever.

"Ma, no matter what, home feels better than anywhere in the world," said Ragini when her mother-in-law hugged her and welcomed her back.

"You're absolutely right. Home is heaven," replied Papa.

"Where is Siddharth?" asked Sparsh.

"He's gone to Bangaluru due to some office work. He called me an hour ago and said he will be back before evening."

After some tea and coffee, they went to their room to get fresh. They had already had their meal in the plane so they just needed a nice, long nap.

"You wanna shower first?" asked Sparsh.

"Why not we do it together?" Ragini teased him.

Sparsh smiled and Ragini knew it was not genuine. She had noticed him acting strangely in Portugal but assumed it was because of the all-day-long walking and adventure. The day he said he wanted to ask something and asked her to reply honestly, she asked him to go ahead with his questions at the breakfast table and he replied with a "Do you love me?"

Ragini had seen him being unenthusiastic and when asked, he said, "I'm tired." Ragini believed him as their adventures were truly exhausting. At night, he slept early giving the same excuse of being tired. She didn't say anything because she didn't wanna ruin their trip with fights and quarrels but it seemed she needed to talk to him now.

"We need to talk," said Ragini, looking at Sparsh who had taken his seat on the bed.

Sparsh stood up, grabbed a towel from the cupboard and replied, "Later. I need to take a shower first, my body feels itchy." And he walked into the bathroom.

Ragini was shocked, she had never seen Sparsh acting like that. She was sure there was something bothering him, he'd never react that way otherwise. She was worried about him.

"I took him out for the honeymoon to get rid of his worries, but he seems to be surrounded by lot more tension now. God, what's wrong with him? I'm scared!" said Ragini to herself while she looked at the reflection of their wedding picture in the mirror.

Ragini saw Sparsh sleeping when she came out after having bathed herself. Her disappointment was obvious from her face, her heart ached seeing her husband acting so distant. She went to the bed and laid down beside him. She could only see his back so she tucked to his shirt around his waist and whispered, "Are you really sleeping?"

When she got no reply, Ragini hugged Sparsh from behind. She tightly embraced him while inhaling his scent.
"I love you," she whispered.

Sparsh's eyes had tears in them. He loved her and could feel her love too. If she loved him, then what about Siddharth. What was between them? He was puzzled and emotionally drenched and wanted a nap. With Ragini hugging him like that, he felt comfortable and went to the dreamland soon after.

Sparsh woke up and Ragini was not in the room. His eyes were puffy and he felt sleepy. He washed his face with cold water and went downstairs to find his father sitting with Sid and Ma and Ragini were working in the kitchen. As soon as Sid saw him, he greeted Sparsh with a hug.

Ma called out from the kitchen, "How was your trip? Did you enjoy?"

Ragini and Sparsh exchanged glances and Ragini replied, "Yes Ma. It was good."

Ma and Papa looked at Sparsh for his answer but he didn't say anything and kept looking at the floor.

"He's tired Ma. Look at his face, he's still sleepy," replied Ragini.

Ragini served tea to everyone and Ma came with some delicious snacks. The tea session was over and the women went into the kitchen for dinner preparation.

"You look tired, go and take rest," said Ma.

"Ma, I'm okay. How are things here? Is Jeevika and her family good?"

Ma nodded and said, "Everything is good. I talked to her in the morning. She said she'll come in a few days to meet you."

The whole family was eating together after a week, but there was an unusual silence. The faces of the parents were lit up but the children seemed to be lost in their own world. Ragini striked conversation sometimes and got the response from only the parents who thought their children were tired and needed rest.

After dinner, they all sat in the living room and had ice cream and fruits. Jeevika video called and informed about her expected visit within 2-3 days.

Ragini received a phone call from her parents so she went to her room to talk. Ma and Papa also went to their room shortly after to talk to their dearest grandchild who was dancing for them in the video call. Sparsh and Sid were the only ones left and both of them were silent.

Sid striked up the conversation, "Is Portugal beautiful?"

Sparsh simply nodded.

"Did you enjoy?"

"Yes," replied Sparsh without even looking at Sid.

"Why did you suddenly go to Bengaluru?" asked Sparsh.

"Urgent meeting. Someone else was supposed to go but he met an accident and I was summoned to replace him. Bhaiya, I'll be back. I need to use the washroom." And Sid left.

Sparsh grabbed his phone from the table and saw Sid's phone vibrating, someone was calling him. The contact picture amazed him. It was Sush, Ragini's best friend. He was taken aback yet not surprised. Soon the call disconnected but what he saw after that crushed his world. On the screen was a picture of Ragini kissing Sid whose hands held her waist tightly.
