A week before Ofa is due.

Ofas POV

pain pain and more pain is what I have felt in the last two months. I can't wait for this baby to arrive.

Going to the toilet 50 times a day, eating non stop, sweating and feeling tired all the damn time.

I've been so blessed to have my man. He's been so helpful in every way he can.

Since the night he had out with his boys he vowed he wasn't going to do that again but I've encouraged him to go out and have a break from me while I hangout at my Aunty Lia and uncles Sams house where all my cousins usually meet up just for a yarn.

I kinda feel sorry for Tasi because he is really shy especially in front of my loud and obnoxious family.

"U ok?" Tasi asks while gripping my arm as we sit in the waiting room to be seen by our doctor.

I look into his eyes and smile. "Yeah I'm ok, I feel like I wanna lay down" I say placing my hand over his.

In a short while we are called into the doctors office where he asks me to hop on the bed.

I pull up my dress and cover my lower half ready for the scan. Today we get to see how much my baby has grown and checking to make sure everything is OK.

We find out our baby is strong and healthy and has grown a few inches since my last scan and now its the waiting game.

Tasi looks very happy with a smile ear to ear.

Deep down I'm so scared of what is going to happen. Thoughts of losing my baby or losing my own life has crossed my mind so many times but the thoughts are always pushed back and replaced with positive thoughts.

In the last month we have been house hunting and hope to have a house ready for baby to go home to.

My dad's health hasn't gotten any better too so moving out may not be a good idea yet but if it happens then it happens. I know my parents don't mind whether we stay or move out.

We head to Tasi's parents house after our appointment.

We had dinner twice in the last couple of months and on both occasions I was ignored but I still plastered a smile for the sake of my husband.

We arrive and we are greeted with smiles and I'm introduced to Tasi's older sister Gardenia who just moved from American Samoa with her family.
I get talking with the sister and I must say I'm quite proud that even with limited English we manage to have a good conversation.

Tasi's parents actually acknowledged me this time bombarding me with questions and I reply reluctantly and question why all of a sudden they are being so nice.

We have a good feed. Before we say our goodbyes.

On our way home we make a stop in to see Uncle Sam and forcing Tasi to come into the house with me was such a mission but eventually he came in with me.

I introduced Tasi to all my cousins and most of them being males I could see Tasi twitching a bit but I brush it off.

I try to have a good time and find out why Uncle Sam wanted us to come over but I couldn't help but feel Tasi's hand grip tighter around mine every time my cousin/uncle who is younger than me says something.

I understand how threatened Tasi would be with my cousins who are actually my uncles cos they are very handsome and I know any girl that has these boys as a husband would be lucky. But he doesn't have anything to worry about. For goodness sakes they're my relations.
