Chapter 19
Ofa POV
“are you sure Ofa? How do you know you’re pregnant” Tasi asks sounding unsure and confused.
“mum said she knew once she saw me walk into the room at the hospital” I reply with a bit of excitement.
“but do you know for sure you’re pregnant? What if your mum was seeing wrong? I mean we have been away for two weeks, maybe you’re just looking more refreshed from our trip?” Tasi says. I see him staring at me in the dark.
“I really trust and believe what my mum says but we will go ahead tomorrow and buy a home pregnancy test pack and we will find out for sure” I say with a smile
Silence is all I get from Tasi who is in deep thought. He doesn’t seem as excited as I am but I understand that he will probably only believe if I do the test and know for sure.
----
I wake up to see the sun gleaming through the curtains and to turn on my side to find it empty. I get out of bed feeling happy as today i will definitely be finding out if i am pregnant or not. I make our bed before heading to the shower with my towel in hand. As I make my way to the shower I can hear Tasi’s step-mom talking. I hate hearing that lady’s voice. Its so annoying, I swear when that lady talks she has a motor mouth. She is speaking in their language until I hear my name mentioned.
I head towards the kitchen and peek through the door to see who she is talking with and I see Tasi and his father both looking so tense in the middle of having their breakfast.
Now that pisses me off. How can he just have breakfast with his parents and not wake me up? I thought we made it clear back in Samoa that breakfast and dinner are the important meals and we cannot miss them with eachother unless under certain circumstances.
I head to the bathroom and fix my hygiene before heading to our bedroom to still hear that blabber mouth still talking like Tasi and his father are sitting across the road. I groan and head into our room to get dressed.
After getting dressed I texted my girls.
