Chapter 15 - Letting it down lightly

Ofa’s POV

I wake up with a thumping headache and my body feels worse.  I slowly sit up in bed opening my eyes to see Tasi over the stove while he is singing … watching him dance around half naked with no care in the world, he looks so sexy and I love that he can cook. 

I turn to get out of bed to see a glass of water and Panadol sitting on the bedside table, he is a gem that man of mine.  I take the pills before heading towards the kitchen.

I sneak up behind him wrapping my arms around his waist and hugging him.

“mmmm smells good babe” I say resting my head on his back

“how are you feeling?” Tasi asks with concern clearly in his voice

“I’m ok, a lil groggy but I’m fine. And thank you for the Panadol baby… I love you” I whisper into his ear before placing a kiss on his neck.

“you’re welcome babe” Tasi says as his head turns and his lips place a kiss on my forehead and I smile like a lil teenager. 

“I’m going to shower, care to join me?” I whisper into Tasi’s ear trying to seduce him.

“after last night I’m surprised you still walking baby” Tasi chuckles and turns and winks at me.

I slap his ass before walking away towards the shower and I hear his laughter throughout our room.  This man of mine likes teasing me but I love that, he never fails to put a smile on my face.

After my shower I dry myself, apply my lotion before putting on a Navy blue strapless jumpsuit pairing it with my blue beads necklace and blue stud earrings. 

We both sit down for breakfast and eye down my husband.  Tasi avoids my stare and just looks down at his food.  Something doesn’t feel right.  

“baby we need to talk” Tasi says with seriousness in his tone and on his face. 

I stay silent and wait for him to continue.

“I’ve made plans for us to go and meet my family today, I was gonna wait for you but I had to make a call because my aunty Ria was rushing me.  Will you be ok with that?” Tasi says and I sigh with relief

“of course baby, I would love to meet your family” I reply with a smile as Tasi mirrors my smile.

“we will be spending Sunday there too cause aunty Ria wants to show us off to her church” Tasi says with a chuckle.
