It had been three weeks since the fight with Amy had occurred and Sonic has been regretting it everyday. On some rare occasions he would run into Amy with Mason on one of their dates. He hated the interactions with her because they'd never speak to each other and she'd just give him a dead look. Now he was laying down in his hammock, swaying side to side and was toying with his guitar. He'd been doing this everyday since that altercation.

Suddenly his green sibling came by his side and sat on the hammock and looked at his brother with a sincere expression,"hey bro" Sonic was staring at the ceiling but still answered his brother, "hey manic." "So I heard what happened. Are you ok? If you wanna talk about it, I'm here." Manic said with a stern face. Sonic looked at his brother with a smile,"it's ok bro, I'm good." The green hedgehog sighed and nodded,"well if you ever wanna talk we can. Plus I am a real ladies man." He smirked as Sonic scoffed,"yea sure." "Anyway I made breakfast and you reek. So go take a shower and come eat breakfast." "Just us?" "Yeah. Sonia went with Tails to talk to Amy. Ya know-" "I know." Sonic and manic got up from the hammock and went in different directions.

10 minutes later, Sonic emerged from the shower drying off his quills and putting on clothes. He wore a light blue muscle shirt, dark blue jeans and blue/white shoes. He walked to the kitchen area, grabbed a plate and sat down next to Manic. They were watching comedy chimp while they ate.

They eventually got bored because the chimps jokes were so dry. Sonic just put his head on his brother's lap which made Manic confused. He was going to push him off but he was too lazy. They both started to take a nap but a sudden scream came in the room.

"Sonic!!!" Sonic's head jolted up from his brother's lap and turned to his sister and adoptive brother. His expression changed from bored to concerned in a flash, "what happened guys?!" "It's Amy, she's been kidnapped." Tails said in a panicked voice. Sonic then frowned, "why doesn't her boyfriend save her?" Manic then slapped Sonic in the back of his head and shook his head. "That's just it! Her 'boyfriend' was the one who took her!!" Sonia yelled.

Sonic turned to the violet hedgehog with a worried look, "w-what are you talking about? H-how do you know?!" "Sonia and I were going to go check up on Amy to see if she was alright." Tails started, "but when we got there we saw him run off with her, tied up and barely conscious." Sonic started seeing images of Amy in a bunch of pain, and blood pouring from her face. This was getting him angrier and angrier.

"Sonic I...I think he's working for Eggman." Tails said in fear. Sonic then burst out his house in speed and raced towards Eggman's lair. He didn't have to wait to bang on the doors because they immediately open upon his arrival.

Once they were opened wide enough, he ran to the main area of the lair and looked around. He turned again an opening to a lower part of the lair, a basement I guess if you want to call it that. Without hesitation he ran down and looked around for Amy. He saw her sprawled across the floor unconscious with bruises, cuts and blood pouring from her face.

Sonic ran to the cage, banging on it and called out Amy's name to wake her up. "Ames!! Come on Amy wake up, please." His eyes started becoming watery but Amy started stirring which made him sigh in relief.

"Alright Amy, let's get you out of here." He started shaking the cage trying to open the door but nothing worked. Suddenly the door opened and Sonic didn't raise any suspicion and ran to get Amy. As soon as he picked her up Amy opened her eyes quickly,"S-Sonic no it's a t-trap!"

Well someone could've said something earlier cause once she said that a mysterious shadow closed the door. "Well Sonic I sure am glad you came to save your girlfriend. Too bad she was dumb enough to not notice what was going on from the beginning and now you both have to suffer." Mason said ending with an evil laugh. Amy looked up at Mason with a desperate look,"Mason, why would you do something like this?" "What you still don't know?" Mason laughed even harder. Sonic balled up his fists,"it's not Mason, it's Scourge." Scourge started clapping and switched into his normal form. "Very good Sonic, see you're catching on. See ya later sewer rats." Sonic sighed in frustration. Amy felt tears welling up in her eyes as she walked to the back of the cell.

Sonic turned to her and had an apologetic look on his face, "Amy?" "I don't wanna talk right now Sonic!" Amy yelled. Sonic changed his face expression in a heartbeat, "what's wrong with you?!" Then Amy snapped,"oh gee Sonic I don't know! Could it be the fact that I'm stuck in a cage on the verge of death next to the person who caused this?!"

Now it was Sonic's turn to snap,"I caused this?! I caused this?! How?!!" "You're the one who's been antagonizing him all this time!" "You're worried about me antagonizing him?! We wouldn't be in here if YOU hadn't flirted with him." "Flirted." "Oh really?" Sonic then cleared his throat and started impersonating Amy, "Sonic, I'm trying to have a date with my handsome companion, Mason. Even though I haven't known him for that long. So you can just go you blue bastard." Amy tried hard to not laugh but couldn't and just bursts out laughing.

Of course Sonic followed in this laughing spree. Suddenly the laughter stopped and Amy started getting sad again. She looked at Sonic with tears in her jade green eyes,"Sonic......I'm sorry." Sonic was going to say something but Amy stopped him and continued," the truth is I never stopped loving you and I hated it. I tried so hard to get over you but I just......" "Why did you try to get over me?" "Because I felt that you'd never.....never love me like I love you. I just *sigh* I'm sorry."

Sonic started walking towards her. He grabbed her by the hands, pulled her up so she can stand, wrapped his arm around her waist, jerking her close to his body and with no second later kissed her passionately. She was extremely shocked and took some time to sink into the kiss. After some time they released and stared into each other's lust filled eyes. Sonic smiled and said with his deep voice,"I never said I didn't love you."
