{Sonamy} love is so confusing

~Sonic pov~
Wow.......so I guess she's over me. How did this happen?

~Flashback~ (even though it wasn't that long ago)

It all happened so fast. She came with a bubbly smile like always. The one I loved so much. Then the next thing I knew, she told me something that would kill me.

"Hey Sonic." She said with her cheerful and happy voice. With that face she could fool anyone of her true feelings. Damn it.

"Hey Ames. What's going on?" 'Boy she is prettier than ever. Maybe now's my chance to tell her' I thought to myself. The only thing is, I was wrong.

We stood there for some time until I saw her expression change faster than I could run. She seemed a little down, confused, but more than anything hurt.

"Actually Sonic, I wanted to talk to you. It's kind of important." "Well I was meaning to talk to you as well. It's something I've been meaning to get off my chest." "oh ok um you go first." "no no Amy you go. Besides you mentioned it first." Biggest mistake ever.

"Well Sonic, I've been thinking and I've come to the conclusion that you'll never like me the way I like you. I now know you'll only like me as a friend and I've accepted that. So I've decided that I'll stop trying to force you into loving me and start treating you as a friend, like you want me to. I'm sorry for causing so much trouble. *sighs* Well that's that. So what did you want to tell me?"

I was shocked. I didn't know what to say. "Well I um I just wanted to say that I just well *sigh* I just wanted to say I missed you." And with that I ran. So basically she dropped that bomb on me and I was never the same.

~End of flashback~

"Oh what do I care. I don't even like her like that." But who am I kidding? I knew I didn't like her. I loved her. I really do love her and she was gonna know that one way or another.
