~the next morning~

After such a fantastical return gift from the pink hedgehog, the blue speedster awakens from a peaceful and comfortable sleep. Oh but he did not wake up to such a beautiful morning. Well sure, the sun was shining, birds were chirping, and young kids were playing outside in the sand. Yeah but that isn't what Sonic woke up to. It was more on the lines of...

"Bluaarrggghhh" the sound of someone vomiting filled the ears of Sonic and made him cringe. That vomiting came from Amy's bathroom and as Sonic went to go discover who that sound belonged to, and it was none other than Amy
herself.

Sonic went up to Amy and put a hand on her shoulder, "Ames, you okay?" Sonic asked with great concern in his voice. Amy stood up and went to the sink and washed her mouth out, while also brushing her teeth. (To get that horrible taste out her mouth. Oh and also morning breath, lol uggy)

After she was done, she turned to Sonic with a small smile, "don't worry Sonic, I'm okay. I guess I just got a little nauseous." Sonic was still a little concerned but smiled back, "well as long as that's all." Sonic then leaned forward and kissed her on the lips with her eventually kissing back.

Sonic smirked before ending the kiss and looked at Amy with a slight blush, "mmm minty" Sonic's smirk grew wider as Amy started blushing extremely hard. Amy started to giggle at Sonic's joke and playfully punched him.

"Well anyway Amy, I'm about to head over to Tails' place to see if the gang was there. I wanted them to know I'm fine." "That's a good idea, Sonic. Mind if I come with you? I wanted to visit everyone." "Sure I don't see why not."

And just like that Sonic hoisted Amy up into his arms, bridal style and dashed off to Tails' workshop/hut.

They arrived at the door and Sonic slowed down and stopped. He felt his heart racing which put a big warm smile on his face, until he saw Amy's reaction to the speed. Amy had her hands covered over her mouth as if she were going to puke. Sonic nervously smiled, "sorry Ames, guess I over did it a bit."

He helped Amy balance herself as she stood on solid ground. She wobbled side to side holding her head and stomach, "Amy, you sure you're ok?" "Yes Sonic I'm fine, lets just go see everyone, ok?" Without further argument Amy knocked on Tails' door as Sonic held a strong gaze on Amy.

Almost immediately after the knock, the door opened revealing a green hedgehog with smile on his face after seeing the triumphant hero. "Heeyy bro, you're alive! It's great to see ya man." "It's good to be back Manic." Sonic ran up and hugged his sibling tightly. They released the hug and Manic chuckled.

"Well come on you love birds, don't stand outside when everyone needs to see you." The hedgehog couple looked at each other and blushed. They followed after the green hedgehog into a room where the whole gang was planning something.

"Listen guys I don't know about you but I think we should go on with this plan. We don't need to rely on Sonic all the time." Shadow said in the corner with his eyes closed and his arms crossed.

Manic, Sonic and Amy stood by the door way and listened to the argument. "Well whatever the deal is I'm not going forward with this plan without Sonic. We left him to fight Scourge alone, what if he's hurt? I want vote we go look for him." Sonia said firmly. Knuckles stepped forward and nodded his head, "I agree. If it were us, I'm sure Sonic would stop at nothing to rescue us. The job can wait."

Rouge chimed in, "well we have a job to do. If we don't find out who's behind this threat, we'll be facing an even giant problem, or worse." "But we still need to find Sonic." Tails said shaking his head.

Manic chuckled and pushed Sonic forward, "found him." The gang quickly turned to the three hedgehogs and ran up to Sonic. Sonia, Tails, Cream, and Sticks tackled him in a hug. Sonic was pleading for released after the lack of oxygen. They let him go and Sonic stood up.

Shadow walked up to him with a smirk, "why did I think that asshole would kill you?" "Heh maybe you wanted someone to finally do it." Silver went up to Sonic and patted him on the back, "So you took down Scourge huh? Is he dead?" Sonic nodded his head.

Tails looked at Sonic in amusement, "when did you come back?" "I came back last night, although the fight didn't last very long, so after the fight I started wandering around for a bit and then I came back to the village."

Sonia looked at him with a pout, "so why didn't you come to see us?" "Well I went to see Amy. She was actually the only one I saw, since she was closer and awake." "What did you guys do?" Almost instantly after hearing that, Sonic and Amy blushed like crazy.

Tails started to get nervous and a bit uncomfortable, "did you guys do, what I think you did?" Sticks started to freak and she squinted her eyes at Sonic and Amy, "wait a minute, you mean to tell me they actually are working with the government and are planning to take control over our minds with the help of our shadows!!!" The group turned their heads to sticks and looked at her with confusion.

"There's something wrong with you." Shadow said with confusion written all over his face. Silver turned to the hedgehog couple and smirked, "yall nasty. Anyway Amy you better back down cause Sonic's my man" Silver joked and hugged Sonic. Amy started laughing and pointed behind him, "yeah you might wanna change your words."

Silver turned around to see Blaze with a fire ball forming in her hands, "Sonic is your what?" Silver started sweating nervously and kissed Blaze to calm her down, "I love you Blaze." Blaze smiled and burned Silver's tail," I love you, too."

The whole group laughed and Tails cleared his throat, "anyway Sonic now that you're here, the plan can go be a lot easier." "What plan?" Blaze spoke up, "well while you were at Eggman's base with Scourge, a group of coyotes came and attacked the islanders." "We fought them off with ease but we heard one of them talk about a plan of attack." Sonia continued.

"Now we're making a plan on tracking them down to prevent them from attacking again." Shadow finished. Sonic looked at them with shock and turned to Amy, "why didn't you tell me you guys were attacked?" Amy blushed and smiled nervously,"um well, it kind of slipped my mind.." Sonic thought about it and blushed when he found out why.

Sonic turned back to the group and smirked,"alright fill me in on the plan." The group told him the plan and he nodded. Suddenly, Amy felt nauseous yet again and ran for Tails' bathroom. The girls ran after Amy and the guys turned to Sonic. Sonic shrugged, "this happened earlier, I think she might be sick."

"I think you might be pregnant." Sonia said. "WHAT?!" The girls screamed towards Sonia. She raised her hands up defensively, "it could be possible, did you and Sonic have sex?" Amy hesitantly nodded her head. "Well then it's possible. The best thing to do right now is-"

Suddenly there was a knock at the door, "hey uh is everything alright in there?" Amy looked at the door in fear as she heard Sonic's voice. "Yeah we're good. We'll be out soon." Sonia replied to Sonic while winking at Amy. Amy smiled with reassurance. "Well ok just checking in."

Amy sighed in relief when she heard him walk away, "what are you gonna do Amy?" Cream said with a worried expression. "I don't know Cream, maybe I shouldn't tell him right away. Right now I don't even know if I'm actually pregnant and the last thing I wanna do is trap him in a relationship or worse give him a heart attack." "I think that's a good idea."

Rouge smiled at Amy, "well we shouldn't stay in here to long, he get worried. Let's go out there and try to not act suspicious." The girls nodded and proceeded to leave the bathroom. They went in the living room and the guys turned their attention to them.

"You girls ok?" Shadow asked, all the girls except Sticks nodded. "Amy is carrying a virus called pre-" Blaze quickly slapped her hand over Sticks' mouth. "Enough of your craziness Sticks." The guys looked at Blaze and Sticks with confusion, " it's nothing, I'm tired of her theories." She said casually.

"Riiight. Anyway we were just talking about how we should head for the Tamerian jungle tomorrow." Tails said. "Why tomorrow?" Cream said. "Because Sonic wanted to settle down a little, since he just came from a battle." The girls nodded in agreement.

Sonic stood up and headed for the door, "so I'll see you guys tomorrow I guess." They nodded and everyone except Tails and Cream exited the twin tailed fox's house.

Sonic walked up to Amy and tapped her, "hey uh A-Ames I was wondering if you maybe wanted to hang out today?" Sonic asked. Amy smiled and hugged Sonic tightly, "of course I would Sonic." They connected arms and walked off to start their date.
