Love on the beach

~Sonic's pov~

YES!! I actually asked her out. What's better is that she agreed. Where should I take her? A fancy restaurant? Nah it's to early. Meh burger? Hmm tempting but they get her order wrong all the time and she'll just flip out. Oh geez where am I gonna take her?

"Hey Sonic, how about we relax on the beach?" Oh well I guess the beach would be nice. "Yeah sure Ames, let's go." We walked to Amy's hut so she could get her swim suit and while she was getting ready I ran to get my trunks.

Once I was ready, I grabbed my towel and ran back to Amy's place. I knocked on her door and yelled out to her, "hey Amy, you ready?" She yelled back in that angelic bubbly voice of hers. "Yeah one second." A few seconds later she opened her door and I saw a very beautiful pink hedgehog in a nice bikini.

Her quills were pulled back in a long curly ponytail and her jade green eyes sparkled brighter than any jewel. "A-Amy yoouu look um...uh." Dammit, why am I so nervous. 'She looks so beautiful. I hope I don't screw this date up." I said in my head. I guess I must've been zoned out for too long because Amy started giggling at me.

"Sonic, are you okay?" I snapped out of my mind and replied, "of course, why do you ask?" "Because when I asked if you were ready to go, you zoned out and started blushing." She giggled again. I chuckled nervously and put my hand behind head. "Well to answer your question, yes I'm ready lets go."

I picked her up and dashed over to the beach. We searched around for a place we could relax and finally found one. We started setting up the large umbrella and laid down the towels. When we were down, we relaxed on the sand until Amy stood up and smiled at me.

"Let's go for swim!" I gave a hearty laugh, "hell no." She pouted at me, "oh come Sonic, please." I closed my eyes and rested my head on my hands, "no besides you know I don't like water." After saying that, I heard 'humph' from Amy and when I opened my eyes, she was no where in sight. I figured she had went in the water so I closed my eyes again.

Suddenly, I feel a pair of hands grab my legs and drag me. I started to freak until I saw Amy. "Uh Amy? What are you doing?" She didn't reply, instead she gave me an evil smirk. I looked down to see where she was dragging me and I noticed it was the water. I panicked so hard.

"Amy?! Have you lost your mind?! I'm not going in there!" I tried clawing my way and fighting the force of me being dragged but her grip was extremely strong. She was determined to bring me in the water.

Soon enough I felt the water on my back and I started kicking, "AHHH Amy stop please!!! Seriously, ITS TOUCHING ME!!" "Listen Sonic, let's make a deal." I closed my eyes tightly as the waves kept coming in. "What deal?!" "If you join me in the water as far as I WANT then I'll make you 10 chilidogs just the way you like them." She moved in closer to my ear and whispered, "and maybe even dessert."

My eyes snapped open after the comment. I looked at her with shock and my cheeks burning. I smirked at her which made her blush, "well now when you put it like that.." She smiled at me and turned around to swim. I couldn't believe my eyes at the next thing she did. She zoomed across the water like a jet ski. She was so fast it was like me running only she's swimming.

She turned around to face me, "well don't just sit there, come on in!!" I was shocked but still scared to go any further. I looked down at the water and slowly looked back at her, only to find she wasn't there. I started looking around for her, "Amy? AMY?!! Am-"

I was cut off by Amy pulling me underwater. "BLARRGGUBUGH BLAUGH BLUG BLU" I managed to say as I was being dragged. She stopped dragging me and swam to my level. I tried holding my breath but I was slowly failing. That's when Amy grabbed me and kissed me. Surprisingly that was giving me the oxygen I needed.
