~Lava claw clan main room~

"Sir, we successfully put the prisoners in different holding cells. Two of them tried to escape, we sedated them and threw them in the cell. Some were injured." A hellhound guard said in salute.

Sergei, the lava claw clan leader, turned and nodded, "Very good. See to it the injured are put under immediate recovery." The guard nodded and exited the room. As he left, Sergei turned to a portrait of a much older and terrifying hellhound. He got on his knees, closed his eyes, and looked up, "Salutations again, I haven't spoken to you for some time now. I hope you are watching me become the greatest conquerer you ever were. Soon you'll see...father."

Just then a young, scrawny, and nerdy hellhound, who appeared to be a scientist, stumbled in the room with a devious smile. "Hehe sorry your graciousness but I came to ask, are you ready?" Sergei opened his eyes, smiled and turned to him, "Bring her."

~Meanwhile with the gang~

After Sonic and Amy's spat, Sergei ordered to have the gang put into different cells. Each cell had two members. They sat in their cells thinking about a perfect escape. Knuckles and Sticks were in a cell unconscious because they foolishly tried to escape. After that, the gang thought it'd be best to think this through.

Silver played a harmonica while everyone was thinking, making them all annoyed. They all yelled in unison, "SILVER!" Sonia, who was in the same cell as him, snatched the annoying instrument away from him, throwing it out of the cell. They all yelled "THANK YOU!" Sonia folded her arms at him, "how the heck did you even get that?!" "Well if you must know buzz kill, one of the guards had it in box full of junk. So while he wasn't looking I took it." She rolled her eyes, "Yeah, I wonder why it was with the junk." "Hey! I was just trying to lighten up the mood." They ignored him and went back to thinking.

Sonic chuckled and turned to Sally, whom of which was in his cell. "Hey Sal, thanks." She looked at him in confusion, "Don't think to much of it." "Why did you help out back there? Don't think I'm not grateful for whatcha said its just knowing you, you probably would've loved to have that drama go on." He smirked. "Oh shut up! I'm a nice person who cares and...and..." She trailed off cause Sonic gave her a sly smile. She sighed in frustration, "And I hate to see a loving couple go through something like that. I'll be honest with you Sonic, I really did move on from you. I guess I was just jealous of you and Amy being happy together and I wanted to be happy too. I went about things all wrong and I'm really sorry. I hope you can forgive me."

He smiled and gave her a big ol' bear hug, "yeah, I forgive ya." "Thanks Sonic. And I hope you can forgive me too Amy." Amy giggled in the another cell that she shared with Cream, "Of course I forgive you Sally."

Rouge smiled, "Well at least that's cleared up but, does anyone have a plan as to how we're getting out of here?" Her and Blaze shared a cell together and they just thought about a plan and went over with each other.

Shadow went over some numbers in his head. Manic looked at him while twirling his drumsticks. "Hey dude whatcha countin'." Shadow's eyes snapped open and he rushed to the gate, "I got it!" The gang went to each of their gates to hear him out. He spoke loud and clear for everyone but not to loud. "Ok guys I've been doing some reconnaissance. This castle or HQ has security cameras at each corner of every room and a total 96 guards and more on standby outside. 12 guards by the entrance, 34 in the main room, 16 patrolling a long hallway, 2 by the entrance of this dungeon, 6 by a set of stairs, and 20 of them guard the upstairs." "Wait how do you know about upstairs? We've never been up there." Sonic questioned.
