Today is the first day of our intensive. Matt and Cameron's have been postponed due to registration mishaps, so theirs doesntn't start until another week. Since we're going to be dancing me and Tay have just decided to dress in our dance clothes. I was wearing a multicolored Nike sports bra with gray loose fitted/ fitted shorts and gray and purple Nike flex running shoes. Tay wore something similar: a black and white nike sports bra, Nike pro shorts and blue and pink Nike flex running shoes. We through on a top layer shirt and headed out to pick up Matt from the hospital them to breakfast. We ate at the diner where that Ella girl still has a job. The food was good there, we wasn't just not going to go because a hoe still had a place of employment. And best believe she was our waitress, looking pretty fucked up just like we left her.

"May I start you off with something to drink?" Ella asked as she is supposed to. We gave her our drink orders and before she left she gave a wink to Matt. Tay clinched her jaw as Matt tried to calm her down. She walked away clearly attempting to twist her hips all out of proportion. Soon later our breakfast arrived to our table, after breakfast we headed to our dance intensive. I will say the dancers there were phenomenal! It was an honor to do a small production with them.

"Ok, gather around everyone.." The director started. "Good morning! My name is Daniel Green, but you can call me 'Danny', and I'm the director of this intensive, these are my two assistant director, Ally Walker and Erica Andersen. I'm happy to say that you all were the best of the best when you auditioned for this intensive, I didn't just want you because of your skill level, but also by your determination. Dance is not an easy field and is very competitive, but you all displayed an ambition for the art and I commend you for that." He finished "Before we get started, I would like to inform you on why you're here. This is a month long intensive and we will have 6 shows at this theater and each show will be broadcasted on live television on our local stations and for our own purposes. Not to give you a scare or anything, but since you have been accepted into this intensive there is a great chance that you all will have college scouts at your fingertips, that's why we asked for your permission to put your email address in the programs. The majority of college dancers have been scouted from this production, so you are in the right place. Ok... Now that I've got the bases covered, we have 3 weeks to put on a 90 minute show, it's going to be hard, there's only 18 of you, therefore you will be in a lot of pieces. There will be some of everything: ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, and modern. And I am choreographing all pieces, so if you need to record something on your phone to practice, by all means please do, because more than likely I won't remember what I've taught after 30 minutes. Other than that, let's get started."

We started off with a full cast piece, it was modern and it was to dark paradise by Lana del Ray. He had us do a lot of contact movement, which didn't bother me but I don't even know anyone else's name but Taylia's. It was a lot of group work too, I suppose so we can get to know each other. We had to be here Monday- Friday 8am to 6pm, ten full hours😭. But in that time frame, today, we finished 2 dances completely. We have to clean it on our own but today we finished dark paradise and Taylor swift bad blood, which was a mixture of hip hop and jazz. After class Cam and Matt picked us up and we headed back to the hotel, me and Taylia didn't even eat that's how tired we were. We just crashed while they ordered pizza. And we have to be there again tomorrow😩 these 3 weeks are going to be a pain.
