A familiar sound interrupted: "Being thankful and grateful is good, but on one condition! That you don't repeat an old story for the thousandth time!"

Christopher was standing behind their table, smooth and casual. He said this wisecrack to Debra and Charlie. Ignoring their surprise and before any of them speak, he continued: "I can guess the continuation of this story! After six months of supervision by your girlfriend in a lunatic asylum you came back to prison. Luckily, your girlfriend transferred to the prison clinic too. You thought it was lucky, anyway! But after one year you understood that Debra loved you and because of that she got herself transferred to the prison clinic. But you didn't care about this. After three and half years you asked her to marry you. She didn't get angry, she didn't laughed and she didn't turn you down. She just said yes like a noble girl. You know why? Because at that time the prison boss, Mr. Kamali, entered the clinic. In fact he was eavesdropping behind the door. But it didn't matter because the boss man agreed to allow you to get married with this girl and promised to speak with her parents to get their consent."

Debra was too angry. She just going to cut off Christopher's story, but she didn't get the chance. He raised his voice and impudently said to Charlie: "While you were waiting you found out that this prison boss was Debra's uncle, but you still didn't care. You were in a relationship with this girl but you didn't know anything about her life. Just like now. But it's not important for you. Because you are never upset because of these problems. Just like when you learned her aunt was the supervisor in the prison clinic. So you and this girl promised to be married within the next two years, waiting until you were of legal age. And just six months before you were to be released from prison. What a nice ending!"

Debra chewed her nail with fury. At the next table one couple looked at them, and that made her even angrier. She couldn't able to speak because of her rage, and she just looked at Charlie with indignation. It seemed she wanted Charlie to do something and stop Christopher.

But Charlie was in shock too. He and Christopher didn't meet each other until they both got free from prison. Charlie didn't expect at to see Christopher in this mood and this place. Charlie knew that Christopher and Debra hated each other and this hate started because of Charlie, but he never succeeded in cleaning this hate from their hearts.

He was confused. He didn't know what should he do and what reaction should show. At least Debra's eyes showed indignation or something like that. But Charlie was not sure if he felt like that too. He muttered, and with an artificial laugh on his lips said: "Christopher. You...you...what are you...what are you doing here?!"

Charlie looked at Debra to see if she shared his question or not. But Debra didn't look at him. She just stabbed a fork into the table and pulled at it more and more.

Christopher answered: "I'm here because of you. I'm here to see you." He said his last sentences like robot. It seems someone took a chip in his brain and he said this without any feeling.

Charlie looked for something in his mind to show his feelings right now, but his mind completely empty! Before he could think of what to say, Christopher put his right hand on Charlie's shoulder strongly. "Debra can wait for you to call later tonight and listen to you apologize for my impudent behavior. But you should come with me now."

Before Charlie could say anything, Christopher pulled him strongly and pulled him out of the restaurant. As he pulled Charlie to his feet, the chair fell on the floor, making a loud sound. Half the people in the restaurant looked at them and Debra stood and shouted: "Where are you taking my husband?!"
