WITH SPIDER-MONKEY (DEKU 10)

Spidermonkey lands in the spot where the resistance fought against Legion's soldiers (commanded by Rook).

"There! Another!" One of Legion's soldiers pointed at Spidermonkey before he started firing at him.

"Loving the warm welcome, guys!" Spidermoneky smirked as he disarmed the soldiers firing at him of their guns with his webbing. Spidermonkey then shoots a web line from his tail near one of the soldier's feet and yanks himself closer to him and knocks the guy out with a punch. Spidermoneky then proceeds to dodge a grapple attack from behind by backflipping over his attacker.

Spidermonkey then spins a web ball into his hand that throws at the soldiers. The web ball explodes like a grenade, trapping the soldiers in sheets and sheets of webbing.

"Stand down. This is your only warning." Rook said to Spidermonkey as he put his rifle against the back of Spidermonkey's head, his finger on the trigger.

"Rook. What are doing, man?" Spidermonkey asked.

"Neutralizing a threat." Rook replied.

"Except, you're fighting the good guys." Spidermoneky replied. "Look, you're on the wrong side, here. I know you don't want this. So why not help us out in taking your boss out?"

"There is no hope for you! Can't you see that?" Rook asked.

"There is, if we work together. You're a compassionate man, Rook. Help me free this place of Legion's influence." Spidermonkey pleaded.

"You don't know me." Rook shot back.

"Actually, I do." Spidermonkey replied. "There's a Rook Blonko in my world too. He's my partner. Someone I'd trust with my life. And he's an even better hero too."

"Is there a point in your babbling?" Rook sneered.

"You show mercy to those who need it. You tried to help that guy earlier, didn't you? So why play a villain when you can make an actual difference?" Spidermonkey asked. "Look what's happening around us. Legion's taken everything from these resistance fighters. He kills your soldiers, who I'm sure that some of them are your friends, because of an impulse. Tell me, do you really want a guy like that running things in the long run?"

"Even if I were to join your side, he'd just threaten to kill me or them-"

"I give you my word, no harm will come to you or your soldiers." Spidermonkey promised. "What do you say?"

Rook looks into Spidermonkey's eyes a moment, seeing his fire and feeling his steadfast belief in his words.

"Soldiers! Stop fighting!" Rook called out to his squadron, who stop fighting and listen to him.

"What's wrong, Commander?"

Rook shares a brief gaze with Spidermonkey before addressing his squadron.

"For too long we have spilled the blood of innocents for mad men. While we follow their orders to a T, they respond with killing our friends for failure or just because they felt like it! Aren't you all tired of being treated like trash?! Don't the action of Legion and his comrades anger you to no end? Shouldn't we do something good for a change?"

"Are you asking us to betray the boss?!"

"I'm asking you to fight for something better. Something that doesn't involve needless control." Rook replied.

"Come on guys, aren't you all tired of seeing your friends be killed?! Don't you want to avenge them?! Don't you want to be free for a change?!" Spidermonkey yelled.
