(Kc. I changed how she looks. Deal with it.)
/time skip/
Kc heard her alarm clock blaring. She sighed and rolled her eyes. She smacked the clock and stood up.
Her mom stuck her head in."Kc."
" mom." The 16 year old said.
"What do you want for breakfast?"
" probably just cereal."
"Too bad. I made sandwiches." Her mom said.
Kc smiled at her.
"Alright mom. I'll be there in a second.""Get in here before they get cold!" Her mom yelled.
"There's modern technology to fix that mom!" Kc yelled back.
"Don't be such a smartass like Liz!"
Kc chuckled and walked to her closet. She pulled out a light blue button down with her school's crest tailored on the pocket and some black skinny jeans. She paired it with a navy blazer and tie.
On the blazer was the motto.
Adue sapere . (dare to know.)
She put it on. "Mommy!""What?"
"Will you help me tie my tie?"
"Ask your father,I'm cooking!"
"Fine!" Kc said and walked into her parents room. "Hey dad."
"Hey kayce." Her dad said.
"Will you help me tie my tie?"
"You've gone to this school for three years. Can't you tie it by yourself?"
"I'm lazy and this is a neck tie the ones men wear for business stuff." She said with a smile. Her dad let out a chuckle and tied the tie.
"Thanks dad." She said and walked into the kitchen. She grabbed the sandwich and took a bite.
"Yum. I gotta get going." She said and grabbed her bag sketch book and keys on her way out.Kc got in her truck and drove to Shay's house. She honked the horn twice and her best friend walked out and sat shotgun.
"Hey you." Shay said.
"Hi." Kc said and drove to their school.
"Are you wearing skinny jeans?" Shay asked her.
"Yeah." Kc said and parked.
"How?"
"Loopholes my dear shailene." She said to her best friend. She got called to the principal's office.
"Sir. The rules say that it's heavily recommend for the girls to wear skirts and those frilly ties. The word recommend does not mean mandatory. I'm not out of uniform and this blazer covers my butt. Therefor I'm breaking no rules." She said and crossed her arms.
A guy waiting to talk to him stood and said."She's not wrong." He said. The principal glared at him and he sat down slowly.
"You're meeting me here after school." The principal said to her.
