"First day of high school Shay."
"I'm scared."
"Me too. But don't let them see that."
The girls fixed their uniforms and walked into the school.
"Hi! Welcome to St. John academy!" A girl smiled as she greeted them.
"Hi." The girls said.
"I'm Kc Hartman."
"And I'm Shay Duncan."
"Aah. The prodigies. I'm Emily the student council Secretary."
"But you're a sophomore." Shay said.
"And you two are what 12?"
"I am 13 thank you." Kc said.
"I'm 12 but I'll be 13 soon!"
"I'm just saying that anything is possible."
"Well true." Kc said.
"So. You two are athletes."
"We were pretty good but that was 6-7th grade. We're in the big leagues now." Shay said.
"I'm sure you two will be just fine. And here come the president and Vice President."
Mari and another girl walked up.
"The prodigies." Emily introduced the girls and walked off.
"Nice to see you again boss." Kc said.
"Oh hi Mari." Shay said and waved. "Long time no see."
"That is true. Hello little blonde."
"Shay."
"Mhm."
The girl cleared her throat.
"Your Vice President Koryn Harris."
"Hi." The girls said.
"Hello. Can we talk?" She asked Kc.
"Me?" Kc said and koryn nodded. "Sure."
The two walked away.
"Still best friends I presume."
"The bestest." Shay said. "She yours?"
"Yeah."
"What's your name? Er. Which one are you?"
"Kc Hartman."
"Nice to meet you Kc."
"Likewise. So why'd you wanna talk to me?"
"I think you're very very pretty."
"Thank you."
"Are you gay?"
"Shh!" Kc still nodded.
"Do you want to go out sometime?"
"Sure."
"Great."
"We should probably get back to them. Shay is probably talking her ear off." Kc and Koryn walked back.
