"Kinda run down don't you think?" Kc asked.
"My sister and I would come here when we were younger. I kinda wish someone would fix this up."
"It's a nice place I'll admit."
The two sat down and ordered drinks.
"So Kc."
"So koryn."
"How're you liking school?"
"Well saying that I've just had my first day it's been okay."
"You seem distracted. What's wrong?"
"I just feel bad for lying to Shay."
"Why'd you lie?"
"I'm not completely out yet."
"But she's your best friend."
"She's also 12. Her dad is an ordained minister. I don't know how she feels about it."
"Ooh. That's understandable."
Their date continued until it was over.
"Thanks for the fun time." Kc said.
"Yeah. No problem."
"I'll see you around." Kc waved and walked out. She got into her sister's car.
"Hi Smalls. Hey Chandler."
"Hi biggie."
"Sup sprout."
"I went on my first date."
"That's what that was." Liz said.
"Yeah."
"Did you have fun?"
"Yeah."
-next day.
Kc and Shay walked to their lockers and tried using their combinations.
"Wait. I got this." Kc said. She tapped a rhythm on it and it popped open.
"What about mine?" Shay asked. Kc tapped it twice and lightly kicked it. It opened and they put their stuff inside.
"Hey Kc."
"Oh. Hi koryn."
"Hi koryn." Shay said and waved.
"Yeah. So you wanna come by tonight to study?"
"I would but it's this one's birth week. All birth weeks are reserved for us. Sorry."
"It's no problem."
"Koryn!" Mari called her.
"Yeah Mari?"
"Boss lady!" Kc greeted with a smile.
"Hartman. Shailene."
"Hi boss." Shay said.
"Are you bothering them?" Mari asked.
"No. She's fine." Kc said.
"Remember that you have actual work to do." Mari said and walked away.
"See you around I guess." Kc said and walked away with Shay.
"One day I'm gonna get that little blonde. I don't know how. But it's gonna happen." Koryn muttered and walked off.
From that day on she was gone. No one is sure to where she went. But she was gone.
