Waiting at the elevator door are seven cloaked figures. The slender individual next to the button taps their foot a bit.
"No bodies outside but relatively fresh bloody tracks inside of the room. They took a moment to rest. I count two." A higher pitched silky voice speaks from under their hood.
One of the other figures rubs their face and pulls down their hood. Revealing a wiry bronze skinned man with an angular face, long pointed ears and dark brown and black hair. A short cut of hair covers his head and a well kept beard graces his face. "Yes. Though if this is the work of a lycan and an unknown companion then I haven't the faintest idea what made off with the bodies of the guardians. The snow must have washed it away upon making contact with this strange place."
"Trel how many times must I tell you to cut that raccoon off of your face?" Another elf pulls off their hood revealing a bronze skinned male with straight black hair. A clean shaven face accentuating his sharp features but the green and brown inks of his symmetrical facial markings give him a unique appearance.
"Quiet all of you." The largest of the group speaks up. Cutting off any further conversation or beginning arguments. "There is someone on the contraption coming from the middle floors." The group draws their weapons, slender bladed swords paired with light maneuverable shields for four of them while two of the leaner of the bunch draw duel sabres.
The moment the door cracks open the group are met with numerous glowing eyes. Hellhounds. All shield bearers move back as they slowly come out of the lift. "Looks like we have new enemies from the lower levels. Wandering beasts it seems like." The cloaked figure moves forward with his shield bared.
"Cassian don't!"
The moment the shielded Cassian takes a decisive step forward a white blur slams into his small metal shield and sends him flying backwards. Crashing into chairs before hitting the metal divide of the room.
"You take another step forward and next time I go for the kill instead."
The group look at the elevator and back away slowly as their companion gets back into formation. Exiting the elevator are two weaker hellhounds alongside a battle tested female but what really shocked the elven party was the pure white leoporcitae covered in numerous scars wearing leather leg and stomach armor lined with hellhound hide. The way its fur hugged its body was a strange sight.
"I get that you're in a dungeon and must be on guard but if I feel you come at us with that bloodlust again and I will respond in kind." Jack speaks with a bit of a frown on his face.
The sword wielding elves look between one another and sheathe their weapons. "Stay your blades younglings. Keep your guards up and let us pass." The four elven "younglings" step aside and put their shields forward. Keeping their distance as their warriors move forward. "It appears as though we chose a bad day to come to this particular dungeon." Jack calms down significantly but still stays on his toes in case they take a sudden 180 approach. Waiting for them to keep talking. "I am glad to find a mediator among your group." The larger elf removes his cloak and shows that he is a larger elven specimen with gray streaked brown hair and a clean shave that shows a three clawed scar across the left hand side of his face.
"I apologize for the rudeness of my pupils. Are you trying to clear this dungeon?" Nyxia takes a step forward and makes two of the group take a step back. The two elves closest not being one of those who falter.
"Yeah, we are just here to buy some things. Other than that the experience isn't enough to fight over." The elves look between one another and one seems to get fidgety. Adjusting her grip on the sword in her other hand as she tightened her hold on her shield. "Training pups?"
