Returning to the warren, Jack stands at the entrance waiting for everyone to be gathered up by his father. The rest of the raid party standing around him as he impatiently taps his foot against the ground. He wanted to do this right NOW. The Leatherfoot who wanted to die were killed on the spot by him in brutal fashion. Those who wished to leave were pointed towards the remaining gate. Out of the survivors only twelve chose to join them. Apparently the nameless warren was far more appealing than the one they were already in.

The blonde buck whispers down to Meo, "So the divine quest thing was real?"

"Yeah. Kinda hard to believe I know but yeah." The frail buck responded. Watching the bloodied hare pace back and forth now. "Apparently this warren is very tight knit." He sighs as he looks at the members around them. The living members of the original warren contrast with the members from his own "family" he had been born into. The moment he had returned to the warren with a level he was immediately sent out here on the edge of the forest. Saying one wrong word could have gotten him killed by someone who was his own flesh and blood. Jack practically tried to kill himself more than once to save his dead siblings. Tearing himself apart with training and hunting while almost forcing his remaining family to not hunt for him. If someone in Leatherfoot were born with the skill Jack had they would have taken every opportunity to make everyone else do the hunting for them. "If I could be born anywhere in this forest... I would have wished I was born here."

The survivor of a Leatherfoot selection camp looks at the buck that used to belong to the very enemy that they fought with a bit of shock. Before anything more can be said, the remaining hare began pouring out of the warren entrance. Giving the raiding party a large circle of space. Many members of the surviving warrens eye the Leatherfoot turncoats with contempt. Just then, Jack remembers who's missing from this little party. Smiling as he finds something to do while everyone gets settled. Clay and Jullia work on explaining everything that had happened in the hours they were gone.

Bounding off, he quickly shoots through the trees and finds a particular Hellhound lounging by the river. Tugging on Nyxia's hand he snaps her out of whatever daydream she was enjoying. Without a means to communicate the buck simply drags her towards the warren. Slightly amused and having already eaten a filling meal of dire bear, she follows him.

Once everyone was outside and accounted for Jack spoke up. "Apparently if I were to hold this off I might be able to kill the Leatherfoot Warren Head and get some amazing skill." Some of the blood members of the warren roll their eyes at Jack's theatrics. "I say rut the skills and bring my family back!" The crowd cheer as the system accepts that answer.

"Yes."

"Then I, Grimdgandr, acknowledge your tenacity." Jack falls to his knees at a sudden searing pain tearing through his body. Lightning coursing through his limbs before converging on his spine, shooting into his skull hard enough to almost knock him out. "I call upon my right as Ascended Divine Beast Grimdgandr, Last of my kind in life and first of mine in ascension, offering thy own flesh without pause you prove to be one whom I would have been proud to call brother." The voice seems to pause before inhaling deeply. Letting out a booming roar.

"Hear me souls of the dead!" A massive scaled individual with the head of a cobra deep blue and white scales covering their bipedal body appears out of nowhere. A set of brown furs cover their lower body had to belong to a great monster from long ago. Grimdgandr slams a foot down hard enough to nearly knock every hare off their feet. "Return and Rise!" In the distance a wall of clouds begins to rapidly approach. "Your brother acted as your instrument of vengeance just as I did when my own home was invaded millennia before! My brethren may be gone for I could not bring them back but I won't stand aside and allow it to happen again now that I possess the power to wrench you from death's grasp! Rise and be given renewed strength!" The divine figure's hood flares as the beast roars. Echoing through the Forest of Thorns, the voice of the divine beast rattles the last of the leaves from their trees. "Rise and be given life anew!" A chilling gale cuts through the air as clouds gather in the sky above them, building into black clouds that strike itself with arcs of lightning. "Rise AND BE WELCOMED HOME!!!"
