I cover every Kai's attack. He belongs to the Arwen top fighters, but I am the top of the top.

I'm simply the best.

We fight both physically and with the help of elements. It wouldn't be so fun without them.

As today's activity, they prepared smaller rings for us to learn self-defense and also attack.

Fire and water just don't go together. Everyone knows that. When they cross paths, one of them ends.

Always.

That's why neither of us has it easy in this fight. That's also why I enjoy fighting Kai so much.

Every waterspout aimed at me is destroyed by my flame of fire in a second.

But his attack is so fast that I can't keep up with blocking. I need to strengthen my fire. When the water collides with my fire, it hisses loudly and my flame bursts into the sky.

I have the upperhand again.

Kai is slowly losing his temper. Strands of blue are flowing in his eyes.

I jump closer to him and try to give him a direct blow with my left fist for the first time.

But when my fist is stopped by a wall of water, I look at Kai with raised eyebrows. "What do you think you're doing?" after he says that, my whole face is literally under water.

I won't let him get away with this. But I can't say it didn't wake me up a bit.

As soon as I am ready again, I send enough smoke and firedust at him to make him cough. Nobody has taught us this before. Sometimes it's useful to be from Tempus.

When he reflexively covers his eyes, I make a turn, pick up speed and kick my right leg. I feel that I have hit the expected target and Kai loses his balance.

"I'm done, Ed," he says through his cough, "stop the," he pauses again, "smoke."

"Say please, Romeo," I put on my mischievous grin and watch him carefully.

"Oh my god, stop it, you Firebird," sings Leo, who is sitting on the grass next to us and watching our every move. I've kicked his ass before and I think that was enough for him.

I stand firmly and with a synchronized movement of both hands, the smoke clears within a few seconds. I breathe deeply. This piece requires a larger amount of energy.

I straighten up and hold out a helping hand to Kai. Instead of accepting it and admitting his defeat, he throws totally icy water right in my face. I feel like screaming. I withdraw my hand and run my hands through my wet hair. "Do you want to kill me, idiot? Have I ever used ice on you?"

Each of the elements has a modification of power. But not everyone can control it. You have to have enough practice to unlock yours.

The fire has smoke and volcanic dust, which I used a moment ago. In large quantities, it's a bit non-ecological, but I've never really cared about that.

Water has any form of ice, which can kill the opponent. When they can sculpt it into sharp points, it hurts a lot.

Earth, on the other hand, can understand animals and use them against people.

Air can control lighting. It is the most dangerous kind of modification. That's why it's also the hardest to learn. Only true professionals can do it.

Kai apparently took advantage of my inattention and grabbed me by the waist as he moved quickly. When I land the artificial training mat, I grunt. I could have expected it, he would never admit that he had lost.
