Athena and the others took turns keeping watch over the egg and each one of them wondered what kind of dragon it is and what happened to its mother. Ryan and thunder were keeping watch at the time and thunder looks around and sniffed the air and there was nothing unusual. Ryan smiles to himself as he thinks about what kind of dragon the egg could hatch into and there was some excitement from everyone.

The egg cracks a little without Ryan noticing at first and then thunder walks around to the back of the comfy area they had made for the egg. Ryan notices the crack on the eggs and gasps as he realizes it close to hatching time for the egg and he called thunder over and thunder came and saw the egg was ready to hatch and roars in excitement. Ryan calls the rest of the crew and Apollo and Akira were watching and Athena was as well and the egg cracks and shakes again and it keeps adding to the suspense once it finally hatches.

The group holds their breath as it keeps cracking and haze selene's night fury roars a little trying to convince the baby dragon to come out to meet everyone and Athena chuckled a little bit. "We are all excited to meet this little one aren't we" spoke Athena her voice quiet and calm and Ryan nodded and they all watched the baby emerge and it was a grey scaled a big baby basically a puppy dragon. "That's a red death" speaks a surprised chase and Ryan nodded and the red death roared and walked over to Ryan and sniffs and then imprinted on Ryan. "Guess your dragon's parent" speaks Athena amusement in her voice.

Selene looks at Ryan and smiles and Oreo the baby nightlight jumps up and roars excitedly to have another baby dragon around so now she can play with another. "Let's name you reaper" speaks Ryan and Athena smiles as the baby red death roars in approval at the name and thunder sniffs the red death baby and then licks reaper. Thunder chirps happily and then a rock hits the fun house and they were being attacked and Athena mounts snowflake and flies over the island trying to find who had attacked. Athena sighs and pets snowflake and stays on guard as she moves snowflake out of the way of a dragon root arrow.

Athena sighs as she saw the dragon hunters ship and she sees viggo looking straight at her and she knew they wanted snowflake to use the amber attack of the death song to trap other dragons and use the song to lure the dragons in. Selene and haze flew up and so did Ryan on thunder and chase on thorn and they prepared to head into battle with the dragon hunters and split up so there harder hit.

Athena dove down and points at a group of hunters and Snowflake fired and trapped them in amber and haze took out a ship and so did thunder and thorn and the combine attacks of the dragons drive the dragon hunters away and the dragon hunters retreated and Athena smiles and lands and checked on everyone and once everyone was safe they went back to making sure reaper was gonna be taken care of and always have his needs taken care of.

Athena dismounted Snowflake, the shimmering white dragon nuzzling her shoulder affectionately. Ryan landed Thunder beside her, Reaper, the surprisingly large grey Red Death hatchling, waddling clumsily after him. The little dragon let out a series of chirps and squeaks, more akin to a playful puppy than the fearsome roar one might expect from a Red Death. "I still can't believe it," Ryan said, shaking his head and chuckling, "A Red Death. Here. In our fun house." He looked down at Reaper, who was now attempting to climb onto Thunder's leg, the Skrill rumbling with amusement.

Athena smiled, "It seems the universe has a peculiar sense of humor, Ryan." She knelt down, extending a hand towards Reaper. The little dragon sniffed her fingers cautiously before nudging her hand with its snout. "He's adorable, despite his... lineage." "Yeah," Ryan agreed, his gaze fixed on the baby dragon. "But Red Deaths are solitary creatures, aren't they? What happened to his parents?" "That's a good question," Athena mused, her brow furrowing slightly. "Perhaps the egg was separated from its mother somehow. Or maybe..." she trailed off, a flicker of concern in her eyes, "Maybe something happened to her."
