Athena was flying alongside ryan searching every place possible and snowflake and thunder looked around extremely worried and they hopped someone finds selene and nothing bad had happened to her. As Athena and Ryan flew over the islands, their dragons' worried expressions mirrored their own. Snowflake's usually sleek scales was ruffled, and Thunder's scales seemed too dull with concern. Athena reached out to comfort her dragon, stroking Snowflake's soft yet tuff scales and humming a gentle melody. Snowflake nuzzled Athena's hand, her eyes fixed on her rider's face as if searching for reassurance.
Ryan, too, was trying to calm his dragon. He patted Thunder's scaly side, speaking softly to the Skrill. Thunder's ears perked up, and he nuzzled Ryan's chest, but his gaze remained fixed on the horizon, as if scanning for any sign of Selene and Haze. As they flew over the islands, the sun began to set, casting a golden glow over the landscape. Athena and Ryan guided their dragons through the fading light, their eyes scouring the terrain below for any sign of their missing friend. They flew over sandy beaches, rocky outcroppings, and dense forests, but there was no sign of Selene or Haze.
Athena's brow furrowed in concern as she leaned forward, her eyes scanning the ground below. "Snowflake, can you sense anything?" she asked, her voice low and urgent. Snowflake tilted her head, her ears perked up, and let out a soft whine. Athena's heart sank; Snowflake's instincts were usually spot-on, but it seemed even the dragon was stumped. Ryan, too, was getting worried. He leaned forward, his eyes locked on the horizon. "Thunder, come on, buddy. Let's find Selene," he coaxed, his voice laced with determination. Thunder let out a low rumble, and his wings beat faster, as if sensing Ryan's urgency. As the sun dipped below the horizon, Athena and Ryan reluctantly decided to find a place to land for the night. They guided their dragons to a small, secluded island, the sandy beach and lush foliage a stark contrast to the worry etched on their faces. As they dismounted, Athena turned to Ryan, her eyes haunted by the unknown.
"We'll find her, Ryan. We have to," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. Ryan nodded, his jaw set in determination. "We will, Athena. We won't give up until we find Selene and Haze." The next morning, Athena and Ryan set out once again, determined to find Selene and Haze. They flew over the islands, their dragons' wings beating in unison as they scoured the terrain below. But as the sun climbed higher in the sky, they still had no sign of their missing friends. As they flew over yet another island, Snowflake and Thunder's worried expressions seemed to deepen, their eyes scanning the ground below with an intensity that bordered on desperation. Athena and Ryan's own faces were etched with concern, their brows furrowed in worry.
After hours of searching, they reluctantly decided to head back to their home on Dragon's Heart Island. As they landed on the sandy beach, Mika and her dragon Flame were waiting for them, their faces somber with concern. "Any luck?" Mika asked, her voice laced with worry. Athena and Ryan shook their heads, their faces grim. "Nothing," Athena said, her voice barely above a whisper. Just then, a group of dragons and riders appeared on the horizon, their wings beating in unison as they flew towards Dragon's Heart Island. As they drew closer, Athena's eyes widened in shock, her heart racing with excitement.
"Hiccup?" she gasped, her eyes fixed on the familiar figure of Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III, riding his trusty Night Fury Toothless. Beside him, Astrid Hofferson rode her sleek Stormfly, while Snotlout Jorgenson rode Hookfang, Fishlegs Ingerman rode Meatlug, and the twins Tuffnut and Ruffnut rode their unique dragon, Barf and Belch. Athena's eyes darted between the familiar faces, her mind racing with memories of Berk, where she had grown up before her banishment. "What are you doing here?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper. Hiccup grinned, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "We heard rumors of a new dragon riders' community on Dragon's Heart Island. We came to investigate."
Athena's eyes narrowed, her mind racing with questions. "But... Berk... they killed dragons..." Hiccup's expression turned serious, his voice laced with determination. "That was before I fought the Red Death, Athena. After that, everything changed. Berk changed." Just then, Tuffnut's eyes widened, his face lighting up with excitement. "Reaper!" he exclaimed, pointing to a large, dark shape in the distance. Ryan's eyes lit up, a proud smile spreading across his face. "That's Reaper, my dragon. We found his egg and he recently hatched. He's a bit big for a hatchling, but..." Fishlegs' eyes went wide, his face pale with shock. "A Red Death hatchling?" he breathed, his voice full of wonder.
Athena let out a deep sigh, her eyes fixed on the gathering of familiar faces from Berk. She couldn't believe they were here, on Dragon's Heart Island, searching for a new community of dragon riders. Her mind was still reeling from the news, but she pushed aside her thoughts for the moment, focusing on the task at hand. "Snowflake, my dear," she whispered, reaching out to pet her dragon's soft, white and light blue scales. Snowflake nuzzled her hand, her eyes fixed on Athena's face, sensing her rider's emotions. Athena's fingers began to hum a gentle melody, a soothing death song that seemed to calm Snowflake's worried demeanor. As she petted Snowflake, Athena's thoughts turned back to Selene and Haze. They still had no sign of their missing friends, and the worry was eating away at her. She glanced up at Ryan, who was grinning proudly as he showed off his new hatchling, Reaper. The Red Death hatchling was an impressive sight, its large size and dark scales a testament to its powerful heritage.
Athena's eyes met Ryan's, and she could see the concern etched on his face. They would have to continue their search for Selene and Haze, but for now, they had unexpected visitors to attend to. She forced a smile, trying to push aside her worries. "Welcome to Dragon's Heart Island," she said, her voice a little stronger now. "We're glad to have you here. But we have a bit of a situation on our hands. One of our friends, Selene, has gone missing, along with her dragon Haze. We've been searching for them, but so far, no luck." Hiccup's expression turned serious, his eyes narrowing in concern. "We'll help you search, of course," he said, his voice firm. "We won't leave until we find your friend."
Athena's heart swelled with gratitude at the offer. With the help of the Berk riders, they might finally be able to find Selene and Haze. She nodded, a sense of determination washing over her. "Thank you, Hiccup. We could use all the help we can get. Let's get started as soon as possible." The days turned into weeks, and the search for Selene and Haze continued. Athena, Ryan, and the Berk riders scoured the skies and landscapes of Dragon's Heart Island, but there was no sign of their missing friends. The worry and concern etched on their faces only deepened with each passing day.
Athena's thoughts were consumed by the search, her mind racing with possibilities and worst-case scenarios. She barely slept, her dreams haunted by visions of Selene and Haze in danger. Ryan, too, was struggling to cope with the uncertainty, his usual optimism dwindling with each failed search. As they flew over the island, the Berk riders began to notice the strained relationships between Athena and her old friends from Berk. Astrid, in particular, seemed to be watching Athena with a mixture of concern and curiosity. One day, as they took a break on a secluded beach, Astrid approached Athena, her eyes fixed on her sister's face.
"Athena, can I talk to you for a minute?" Astrid asked, her voice low and serious. Athena nodded, her eyes weary from the constant searching. "What is it, Astrid?" Astrid hesitated, her eyes darting around the group before focusing on Athena. "I had no idea you were here, on Dragon's Heart Island. I thought you were...gone." Athena's expression turned bitter, her eyes flashing with anger. "Banished, you mean. Yes, I was banished from Berk, Astrid. You and Father were so quick to turn your backs on me."
Astrid's face fell, her eyes filling with regret. "Athena, I'm sorry. I didn't know what else to do. Father was so angry, and I was so scared..." Athena's anger dissipated, replaced by a deep sadness. "I know, Astrid. I'm sorry too. I just wish things could have been different between us." The siblings stood in silence for a moment, the tension between them palpable. Finally, Astrid broke the silence. "Athena, I want to help you find Selene and Haze. I'll do whatever it takes to make things right between us."
Athena's heart swelled with gratitude at her sister's words. For the first time in years, she felt a glimmer of hope that things could be redeemed between them. "Thank you, Astrid," Athena said, her voice barely above a whisper. "That means more to me than you'll ever know." As the sun began to set on another fruitless day of searching, the group of riders gathered around Athena, determined to find Selene and Haze, no matter what it took. The search would continue, fueled by their determination and the hope that they would finally find their missing friends. They searched for months and still hasn't found anything and reaper has grown each month they looked and was now a teenager red death and was huge as he was now and only getting bigger. Athena looks at Ryan and Mika and Akira and chase while the berk riders were asleep "we may never find them but we can't give up now" speaks Athena worried clear in her voice as she looks at the sky. Chase nods and was saddened and Ryan and mika and Athena sworn to find selene and haze even if its the last thing they do in their life.
