Hey again guys. Hope you don't mind me posting all this at once.
This is pretty self-explanatory. Hope you enjoy!
I remember watching the sun though the trees thinking the leaves looking like gems
I remember playing Pooh Sticks on a wooden bridge, my flip-flops making strange noises
I remember running with fireflies, watching in horror when I squished one
I remember an ice cream cone--one scoop mint chocolate chip, one orange sherbet, topped with sour candies, just to bug my dad
I remember a red-and-gold booth and the best mozzarella cheese sticks
I remember leaning forward when I though no one was watching, pretending I was flying while a motorboat cut across the waves
I remember a car that smelled like vanilla and cinnamon, blasting rock music as I sang along
I remember talking to distract myself from the path I was walking, damp and narrow, and wondering if this was like a tightrope as the rush of a waterfall filled my ears
I remember running between shelves in a store, pretending to be a ninja
I remember mats in a gym, stacked so high they looked like skyscrapers to my small, third-grade eyes
I remember a test of pencils
