Can you guess how I got five of these? That's right--class!

Anyways, joking aside, hope you enjoy :)

Love is roses in July, lifeblood red

It sounds like soft whispers and loud laughter

It smells like cinnamon and sweatshirts, like possibilities

It tastes like mint chap stick and a shared dessert

Love feels like a candle

Hate is loathing rising up inside, filling every inch of your being with red

It sounds like creaking floorboards at one in the morning

It smells like burnt toast, like dark fantasies

It tastes like copper and salt, a bloody potion brewed by silence

Hate feels like arson

Desperation is twilight phone calls, an indigo sky backdrop

It sounds like a envelope being torn open

It smells like smoke on a sunny day

It tastes like a mother's tears

Desperation feels like clenched fists on a rainy night

Exhaustion is a slow suicide, bruised purple

It sounds like soft sighs and stifled yawns

It smells like frazzled nerves, like unwashed clothes

It tastes like coffee, a bitter ambrosia

Exhaustion feels like itchy eyelids

Hope is a blank page, an iridescent sunrise

It sounds like the rapid-fire click of a keyboard

It smells like that tiny coffee shop, the one where they know your order

It tastes like ripe-cherry 'I love you's, floating up to survive with the stars

Hope feels like once upon a time
