You are my sun
My happy place,
My escape
You are my world
My rock, the balance beneath me
You are gravity
You are the birdsong in the early morning,
The lilac in every sunrise,
The smell of wildflowers
You are everything big and bright and beautiful about the galaxy;
You are in every twinkling star,
In a child's laugh echoing,
Spilling across the universe
Like angels singing
Without you,
I am a lone wolf
Trapped on the dark side of the moon
