EDITED.

I spun on my heels and took off as fast as I could, with Tyler just right behind me. He was charging at me at full speed, the sound of our rapid footsteps and my own heart thudding against my chest echoed in my ears with each step I took.

We had been running around for the past few minutes and I am almost certain that we had circled the couch at least 10 times before I finally took off running in the other direction. Peals of laughter escaped my lips as I continued running on, as though we were kids playing catch in the neighbourhood park.

Just as I was about to make a sharp turn, I tripped over my own leg and fell to the ground. I turned around to see Tyler's eyes lit up like the sky on the 4th of July, the smirk on his face growing wider as he closed the gap between us.

As I sat there accepting my fate, I looked up to see that Kyle had positioned himself between Tyler and me, effectively blocking him from reaching me. "Run Alexandra, run!" He urged and I quickly scrambled to stand up on my own feet before dashing off once again, laughing as Tyler complained about how that was unfair.

"Thank you, Kyle! You are a life saviour!" I shouted back before turning back to stick my tongue out at Tyler childishly.

I was panting by the time I rounded the living room at least eighteen times and that was when I significantly slowed down my pace. But oh boy, that was a horrible and deadly mistake. I don't know how but surprisingly, he didn't seem to appear tired at all and I only watched as he ran towards me, an evil grin on his face as he cornered me against the wall.

Tyler had both his arms on either side of my head, effectively caging me with no escape. He was merely a few inches away from me, his hot breath fanning my cheeks as his chest rose up and down with each breath he took. Sweat was trickling down the sides of his head as his eyes bored right into mine.

It was then, my face broke into a smile when I slipped past him from under his arm in one swift motion, not forgetting to laugh in his face before taking off. I made my way up the stairs, with my room as the final destination in mind. My legs were already sore and aching but I was only a few steps away from safety when I felt a pair of strong arms wrapped around my waist and I was pulled into someone's chest.

"You are not going anywhere now," the familiar voice taunted and I could picture the smug smirk on his face.

"That's where you are wrong, Tyler Reich," I retorted as I reached for his arm, trying to twist it behind his back but my plan soon backfired. He had cleverly turned around, grabbing me by my forearm before throwing me over his shoulders.

"What the hell?"

"You asked for it," he simply said.

"Did you hear me open my mouth and say 'hey Tyler, pick me up and throw me over your shoulders'?"

He snickered but continued walking ahead with me still hanging over his shoulders. This time I didn't even bother hitting or punching him because I knew that he will never put me down no matter what. So I just let myself fall limply on his shoulders, my arms hanging freely as he took me to god knows where.

But my eyes soon widened a fraction as the gigantic swimming pool came into view. Shit! He is going to throw me into the pool. And naturally, I started screaming and shouting at the top of my lungs as I threw random punches around. "No Tyler, you can't throw me into the pool!"

"I wasn't going to but since you suggested..." he trailed off and I could almost see him smirk.

"No! Tyler, I swear if you dare-" And before I could even finish my sentence, I was mercilessly thrown into the pool that goes at least 1.8 metres deep. I plummeted to the bottom of the pool in an instant and I struggled to resurface as I waved my arms around frantically.

In front of me, Tyler offered his hand but I only slapped it away, giving him a cold, hard stare. I managed to push myself out of the pool, glaring hard at the laughing Tyler. If looks could kill, he would be 6 feet under by now. "Tyler whatever your middle name is Reich, you are so dead!" I screamed with my face flushed red as water dripped from my hair and clothes.

"You know, I can't take you seriously when you are drenched like that," he mocked as burst out laughing. His hand was clutching onto his tummy as he threw his head back, letting out a hearty laugh.

As he was distracted from all the laughter, I managed to take advantage of this situation, running straight at him, full speed ahead. When I was close enough, I quickly reached out and pushed him from his side where he fell into the pool with a loud splash.

This time I will be the one laughing.

"In your face Tyler Reich," I mocked and watched as he resurfaced and pushed himself out of the pool. His once perfectly styled hair was now damp and sticking onto his forehead, his white shirt clung onto his torso, showing off his well-defined abs. He ran a hand through his messy dark hair and shook his head furiously to get rid of the water before looking up to face me.

"Alexandra?" Tyler called out in a sickeningly sweet voice and smile which made me cringe in fear internally.

"Yeah?" I asked, gulping inaudibly as I prepared myself for what was possibly going to happen next.

"Just so you know, this is not the end," he finished as a smirk morphed itself onto his lips.

Alright. I'm officially dead.
