3 years later...
"Tyler, where are you taking me to?" I asked as curiosity laced my voice. My vision is blocked by the blind fold as Tyler insisted I wear it.
"I told you Alexandra, it's a surprise. I can't tell you yet but we are almost there."
"Oh come on," I protested.
"We are here!" I heard Tyler exclaimed after a few moments later.
"We are here? Finally!" I exclaimed with excitement. I was just about to reached up to take off my blind fold when I felt Tyler grabbed my hands.
"Nope," Tyler said, popping the 'p'. "Not so fast Al," he said cheekily. I could almost imagine a playful smirk plastered across his face as he spoke.
"Why not?" I asked as I pouted.
"Pouting is not going to work this time Al. Come, hold onto my hands."
I reached out and interlocked my hands with Tyler, fitting perfectly.
As soon as I stepped out of the car, I could feel the cool breeze caressed my cheeks and ruffled my messy hair.
The sound of the waves crashing onto the shore harmonised with the sound of the birds chirping, creating a perfect melody that's playing in tune.
"This way my princess," Tyler said as he pulled me out the car and to god knows where.
"Ow! Tyler!" I yelled as I bumped into something in front of me.
"Opps. Sorry Al," Tyler mumbled and I could imagine him giving me a sheepish smile as he scratched the back of his neck this time.
"It's okay. Just don't make me bump into something again," I warned jokingly.
"Yes princess," Tyler teased as he pinched my cheek lightly while I smacked his hand away.
"You ready?" I heard Tyler's voice rang out behind me and I nodded in response. "3...2...1!"
The sunlight invaded my eyesight as I blinked rapidly to adjust to the sudden light intensity.
My eyes wandered around to scan the surroundings to see that I'm at a beach, standing on a wooden bridge.
"Wow, this place is beautiful Tyler," I said as I took in the amazing view ahead of me.
The high moutains, the crystal blue ocean, tall green trees and a myriad of flowers were in sight.
I took in one deep breath as I watched the birds soared by in awe.
"Alexandra?"
"Yeah?"
"Turn around and look at the sand."
And I did as I was told. What I saw was incredible and amazing. I could never ever forget this sight as it will bound to be deeply imprinted in my mind.
The words 'I love you' were written on the soft white sand and dozens of red rose petals were sprinkled around to form a big heart shape.
"Tyler..." I trailed off as I turned around to see Tyler got down on one knee with a smile on his handsome face.
He reached out and interlocked his hands with mine and kept his eyes locked on mine.
"Alexandra, when I first met you at your working place, I have never thought that you would mean so much to me. I would have never thought that I would be seeing the girl who refused to give me my seafood pasta again. But I was wrong. You walked into my life and became my body guard one day. We went through many ups and downs together yet we did not give up on us. With every obstacle we overcame, we only grew stronger. I believe that you are the perfect girl for me.
