One Month Later
Javi's POV
Donnie just arrived in Cali yesterday and we had been to In-N-Out Burger and were now down the beach together since I promised him the full Cali experience.
Donnie: Look over there man.
Two girls were waving at us, one twirled her hair round her fingers and licked her lips.
Donnie waved back.
Donnie: I think the blonde likes you.
Javi: Oh... that's cool.
Donnie: Can I call 'em over?
Javi: Dude I'm in a relationship.
Donnie: So what can't we just talk to them?
Javi: Donnie do you want to get me in trouble?
Donnie: No I'm just tryna have some fun.
Javi: Look you can go talk to them but I'm good ok.
Donnie: I'll talk to you in a minute.
Donnie gets up and goes over to the girls.
I press the button at the side of my phone to wake it up and see I have one new snapchat from Lily. I open up and it's a selfie captioned "how's the beach?" I take my shirt off and send her one back saying "great" then send another one of Donnie talking to the girls captioned "playaa".
After a couple minutes of snapping back and forth Donnie came back.
Javi: How'd it go.
Donnie: I got this.
He showed me the new contact profile he was creating on his phone with the girl's number in it.
I dap him up.
Javi: You ready to go.
Donnie: Yeah.
We left the beach and started to walk back to my house.
Donnie: So when you coming back to New York?
Javi: For vacation?
Donnie: No coming back for real.
Javi: Donnie we talked about this.
Donnie: If you're worried about moving back because of Ace don't worry, he transferred schools.
Ace was my childhood bully.
Javi: I ain't scared of Ace no more.
Donnie: You sure.
Javi: Yeah.
Donnie: Because he's right behind you.
I jump and turn around to see that no one's there. Donnie laughs.
Javi: That ain't cool.
Donnie: And since everyone found out you moved here they talk about you all the time. Do you know how popular you'd be if you moved back?
Javi: That's nice and all but my Mom said this was the last time we moved.
Donnie: Just tell her you hate it here and wanna move back home..
Javi: That would be a lie.
Donnie: You mean you actually like it here?
Javi: I have a great girlfriend, cool friends, the weather is better here and I don't have to see Ace.
