"oh it feels so good to be back Sophie was right I needed to come home I've been missing my friends terribly and I'm sure you missed your husband crystallina "Agatha says the portal shown in the alleyway as the three witches step through the other side of the portal into Halloween Town with smiles arms locked with each other but what they saw made there eyes wide in shock stopping dead in their tracks in the center of halloweentown instead of a lively town of color filled with all kinds monsters and creatures was replaced with dull grey buildings no color what so ever looking plain even the residence then look like themselves in a great dog color but there was Sunday didn't recognize.

"What in the spooksville"crystallina says looking around with wide eyes her home didn't look like this when she left.

Marty then notice something"where's the big jack-o-lantern"she asked making her aunts and grandmother world around to wear the jack -o- lantern once was where it was replaced by a big block of cement bricks in a square shape where person can be shown shoveling up the leaves.

"Is this some kind of sick joke"Marty asked.

"Oh no this is not good this is really not good"Christina says where are you knowing this could only mean one thing as she and her mother share worried looks.

"As goes the jack-o-lantern are so goes halloweentown"Agatha says it would explain why halloweentown looks so normal instead of its usual look with people they didn't recognize walking around.

"Marty mom stay close I don't like the looks of this something's not right"crystallina says as they lock arms with each other before walking forward.

"Grandma and crystallina what's happened everything's kind of gray and boring"Marty ask confused not understanding what's going on as she looks around breathing cold air as their breath was shown.

"Not just everything everybody waiting please could you tell us what's happening here"I guess it says before stopping somebody who walks it was a women wearing a cap and nightgown gray all over with slightly grayish long hair pointed ears as they turn around making Agatha and crystallina realize who this was.

"Oh my"Christina says in shock this one was always happy with a smile now she looks so gloomy.

"I would just like... Astrid is that you"Agatha asked on what the two women were thinking making Marty's eyes widen.

"I'm Astrid"Astrid says dully with a blank look on her face.

"Astrid what's happened to you"Agatha asked worried.

"What do you mean"Astrid as dolly crystallina looks her over everything on her was throwing gray but her shoes that were sparkly red hills that strap around her ankles with orange puff balls only tops of her toes.

"Well I mean you're turning gray and your bell bottoms are gone and your shoes ooh!"Agatha says before her shoes disappear replaced with normal looking shoes with ankle socks.

"These are very comfortable sensible shoes are important I think I'll buy some more"Astrid says dully before turning around as she walks away.

"Okay I said I want to say again something about this whole thing is not normal her shoes that were red suddenly became normal and plain out of nowhere just like the rest of her"crystallina says shaking her head before a boy stumbles into them pushing through.

"Hey what's where you going it's in polite to just bump into people without apologizing"crystallina says with a frown hands on her hips.

"My daughter's right excuse me my daughter was talking"Agatha says slightly hitting them on the shorter making them turn around their eyes widening in shock recognizing the boy it was but he looked like how he did when kalabar spelled him to look normal.

Looked human once again gray all over part of his jacket except the shoulder and arms which was orange he wore a white gray shirt with matching pants and shoes his ears still pointed.

"Whatever"Luke says dully with a shrug before starting to walk away.

"Oh I hate that word"Agatha says.

"Marty you don't recognize him "Crystallina asked her niece who then looks back to the boy around her age before realizing something that she walks over.

"You're right at aunt crystallina wait a minute do I know you"Marty says before she hands in front of the boy as she grabs his shoulder turning him around getting a good look at them it.

"Duh "the boy says with a shrug.

Marty's eyes widen"it can't be Luke but you look just like you did when kalabar put that spell on you and turns you human"she says with shock and disbelief since the last time she saw him he was a troll creature now looked human as he wants did under the warlocks spell.
