Kalani's POV:

The guys had left, leaving me with Marco which was a surprise all by itself. I'm genuinely confused by the fact that Tristan is allowing Marco to be this close to me without him being present, hell any of them.

This is so unlike them. They're always so protective and stuff, I just don't see them leaving me alone with Marco. But maybe I'm thinking too much into it. They have no reason not to trust me so this shouldn't be that big of a deal.

"So, boyfriend made you change?" Marco asked, tilting his head.

We were sitting on the couch enjoying a pint of chocolate chip ice cream. We had to share because I only had one but he didn't seem to mind.

"Yeah. Your cousin is not your biggest fan." I joked before taking another bite of ice cream.

"He hates me, but I don't care because the feeling is mutual. Speaking of which, I have a question." I hummed and brushed my hair out of my face.

"Shoot."

"You're with all of them, right? Not just Tristan."

"Yes." I mumbled.

"You don't sound happy about that." I shrugged and looked ahead towards the TV.

"I'm happy, It's just...nevermind. What about you? Do you have a new woman in your life?" He scoffed before shaking his head.

"Not built that way. Relationships don't usually work for me. Girls run, I fuck up, things just never work out." Interesting.

"All I'm hearing is that I should find you a girlfriend."

"I doubt you'd be able to. I'm a hard man to love, Kalani." He seemed so sure that there was no woman in the world that would ever love him. I'd prove him wrong.

"Challenge accepted. Now, what's your type?" He laughed and rolled his eyes.

"There's no way we're doing this." He chuckled.

"Oh yes we are." I smiled.

I didn't know many people BUT I'm an incredible matchmaker. Well, not that I've ever actually gotten anyone together before but I doubt it's impossible. A few well planned dates, good conversation starts, common likes and goals, BOOM! A good relationship.

This will be my own little project to keep me busy. I get to play matchmaker and find my partner in crime a nice girlfriend. What could possibly go wrong with that?

Nick's POV:

The entire ride to that stupid french restaurant my nerves were at an all time high. I wasn't scared, never that, but I was worried about what would happen to Kalani.

Vito Todd isn't a man that's easily messed with and for some odd reason his son is his pride and joy. Even though he's a little freak. Dudes a complete weirdo and literally needs to be evaluated.

It didn't take us long to get there mostly because Brandon was driving like a bat out of hell. I was worried that we were walking right into a trap.

Vito's not stupid. He knows Brandon could go nuclear about Kalani, so why would he threaten her unless he wanted this type of reaction? And why was Cecilio so easy to find? There is a lot of gray area and I don't like it.

Brandon parked the car and we all jumped out and stormed into the fancy little restaurant.

"Hello gentlemen! Do you have a reservation?" The woman behind the reception desk asked, her smile wide and creepy.
