⚠️Blood. Murder. Death. Gore⚠️
Brandon's POV-A Few Days Later:
Today was the day we were going to rid the world of Vito Todd. It was long overdue, but tonight it was finally happening. I've been on edge all day, feeling like something is missing, but I haven't been able to figure it out yet. With Cecilio being in the wind and this plan with Vito, I haven't been able to relax. Not really.
It felt like time was going slow, the seconds seemed to drag by, and the minutes felt like they were never changing. I know it was all in my head, it was a part of the job and by now I should be used to it. I guess I'm not.
"I've got a guy who can hack the club security cameras so we can find Vito without running around the whole damn club." Nick announced as he came into the basement where me and Tristan were.
"Austin with Kali?" He smirked as he walked over to the pool table and leaned against it.
"He's keeping her busy, for lack of better words." Good. Austin gets distracted easily, empty balls, focused mind.
"He's getting fucked?" Tristan asked blatantly.
"I'm not sure. To me it sounded like he was fucking her. She was screaming, y'know how she gets after that. Oh, well maybe you don't, T." Tristan rolled his eyes at Nick's antics before looking at me.
"We'll be at the beach house all night. So you're clear to come home after it's done." He said. I nodded and crossed my arms.
With Kalani being out of the house things will go smoother. We'll be able to set up before we go and come back without worry that she'll see or hear something she isn't supposed to. After this is over, we're done with all of this.
We'll start a new life, a normal one. One where Kali gets to be happy without worry of anyone hurting her or making her life harder than it needs to be. We'll make sure she gets everything she wants, no matter how over the top it is.
"After this, we deal with Tony, right?" Nick asked, combing his head through his hair.
"Yes. We'll take a couple days, see what happens, then take care of it." They nodded in understanding. After that we all went our separate ways to get things in order.
Nick went to his room to clean our guns and make sure they were in working condition. The last thing we needed was for them not to be working once we got to the club. Tristan was getting things ready for his part of today, and Austin was still locked in Kali's room keeping her "busy".
You could hear her moaning if you walked past her room. Well, you could hear her moaning anywhere. She was loud as fuck, which all of us already knew. I'm surprised she hasn't started screaming bloody murder.
I stayed busy by checking the security feed from the clubs that I'd managed to get a hold of. So far it seemed business was slow, but it was pretty early. From what I could see none of Vito's goons had made their way into the building yet, which was a good thing.
We needed to get there before them. That way we can get in place without them noticing us. If they even THINK we're in that club or job becomes a whole lot harder than it needs to be.
Tonight needs to go as planned, not one thing out of place. There's too much riding on us getting this right. Kali's life, her happiness, her FREEDOM. If anything goes wrong, we could lose her forever and I can't stomach that thought.
If anything happened to her, I don't think I could live with myself. I don't think any of us could. After all she's been through, she deserves her happy ending. She needs to feel like everything in her life means something. That everything she's gone through wasn't for nothing.
