‼️Kid's Ages: Adonis is 10, Namoi is 7, Ezekiel is 5, Cleo is 4‼️
Kalani's POV- 3 Years Later:
The sound of my alarm going off pulled me from my sleep. I groaned softly and reached over to the nightstand and turned it off. I didn't want to be up right now but I had to get the kids up and ready for school. Lord knows if I leave it to the men, the kids will be late to school or not go at all.
I slowly sat up, stretching and waiting to hear that familiar pop in my back before I slid out of bed. I was careful not to wake Tristan and Ezekiel. Ez was sleeping with us, well me, because he said he didn't feel good. Tristan had only snuck in here and climbed in the bed with me a couple hours ago, not realizing our son was tucked into my side.
He asked me why he wasn't in his room and I simply told him that he wasn't feeling the best. He did have a fever, but that was normal for Ez so I tried not to make a big deal of it.
"Lay back down, baby." Tristan mumbled and reached out, grabbing my wrist.
"I gotta get the kids ready, baby. You know if I mess with their schedules all hell breaks loose." He grunted and slowly let go of my wrist before opening his eyes. He glanced down at the sleeping boy who had moved and tucked himself into his chest before looking up at me.
"He's still burning up." He said softly.
"I know. I'm gonna make him take something before he goes to school, but if he still feels sick he's staying home." He nodded and slowly slid out of the bed, careful not to wake Ez.
"I'll make breakfast." He said as he yawned.
"Thank you, baby. I love you." I smiled before leaving the room and walking down to Adonis's room. I always start with him because he's the easiest to get out of bed. He doesn't throw a fit like the rest of them. He might fall back asleep but that only happens every once and a while.
I opened his door and quietly made my way over to his bed. He had his blanket pulled over his head, like always. His bedding was marvel themed which drove Austin insane. He had flash sheets until about three weeks ago. His uncle Henry took him to see a marvel movie and he's been hooked ever since.
His walls were a light shade of dull blue, at the behest of his Grandpa Thomas. Marvel, DC, and race car posters covered most of the space on the walls, along with shelves that had his basketball and football trophies on them, and a few metals he's gotten for academics.
He had two brown wooden dressers in his room, along with the white nightstand sitting beside his bed that had two drawers in it. We usually kept batteries for his lamp, tissues, and bandaids in it.
"Donnie, baby, wake up. You need to get ready for school." I said softly as I pulled his blanket from over his head. He groaned softly before slowly opening his eyes.
"Mama," He whispered and rubbed his eyes.
"Good morning, handsome. Did you sleep well?" He nodded and sat up, his eyes still half closed.
"Mhm. Where's daddy?" I shrugged and rubbed his arm.
"Probably knocked out on the couch. You know him."
"Is he gonna take us to school?"
"Yes baby. But I need you to get up and get ready. Okay?" He yawned before he nodded slowly. I kissed his cheek before standing and moving onto the next room.
I went to the opposite end of the hallway to Cleo's room. She was easy to get up too. Usually she's up before us but she doesn't get out of bed until one of us comes and gets her.
