The breeze was rather fitting for Shouta's mood. The night felt dreary as he scoped out the area for his shift. Pedestrians strolled by, everyone seeming contempt with their lives, but him.

His thoughts haven't strayed from his previous engagements. Nothing has been able to pull him back to reality, which bear conflict to his duties. It wasn't like him to go to work, so distracted. He needs to be on his A Game or he wouldn't forgive himself if anything went wrong.

Who wants a hero who's dealing with a life crisis?

He patrolled the area, passing through an alley when he saw a familiar figure walking towards him. His eyes glowed red, scarf floating in the wind, as he waited to engage.

"Calm down. It's me"

He didn't dare blink until they approached closer, revealing a tired Sakiya. Her blue hair was put up, hero gear casted on her body, showing she was on hero duty as well.

A scoff passed his lips, annoyed that he's sharing a common space with the liar, "I'll go scout somewhere else", he spoke.

"Not tonight please. It's not like I asked to be put here with you", she sighed.

"Yet here you are. Look, it's a quiet night, so you can handle anything on this part of town. I'm going east", he began to walk away when he heard something ring in his head.

He quickly turned around, his quirk activated as he used his capture weapon to detain her, "Stay out of my head", he growled.

"Who knew church bells would have you so tense", she teased.

"I know what you're doing and it's not gonna work. I never broke our vows"

"Didn't you? We're still married Sho, so whatever woman you've been sleeping with should know she's ruining a marriage"

The thought of Katsumi popped up in his head. The pain she felt hearing him mope about his actions, the crack in her voice telling him that he was having an affair, he couldn't handle it. His grip tightened around his scarf, his breathing became harsher as he contemplated the worse.

Sakiya displayed a develish grin, enjoying the despair that took place. This is what she wanted. She wanted for him to feel just as bad as she did. She wants to show him that he's just as wrong as her.

"Don't you see Shouta? We're the same"

"We're not", he gritted.

"Oh? So you aren't sleeping with another woman behind my back?"

She was taunting him. She wanted him to confess his doings, but for the sake of his privacy and Katsumi's safety he bit his tongue for as long as he could.

He released his weapon off her body, raveling it back around his neck, "What I do is my business. As far as I'm concerned, we're not married"

"The papers say otherwise. Does the woman you're protecting have a name? If so, I'd love to know so I can have a chat"

"You have the freedom to sleep with anyone you choose, yet you only want to do it while you're married to me", he distracted.

"I've told you my reasons. What are yours? Have you forgotten what we did months after? Because I remember how you fucked me in a hotel, telling me that you wish I never did what I did otherwise we would've been together forever. That I was the love of your life!"

His emotions got the best of him, his face furrowed in anger, "Your being loud. That night was a sensitive time for me. I wouldn't do it again because I realized I deserve better"
