Sayuri P.O.V

It's been twenty minutes since he's been there and I've gotten a feeling this was gonna be a long road. The man hasn't been himself lately and I blame the blue haired devil.

I recall the day he told me he proposed, watching his forced smile as if he had everything put together. That man wasn't experiencing real happiness, he was experiencing a high.

Those two barely dated before the engagement and that was a sign in itself. I wish he took more time to know the woman before he devoted his life to her.

We used to have our quarrels on how I was being overbearing, but what mother would I be if I didn't worry? The outcome was as clear as day to me, so I wonder how come he didn't see it.

If only he had spoken to his friends about his plans. I bet he would've cared a bit more of his choices, but he kept quiet.

I was so disappointed to hear that he invited no one to his wedding, but me. He wanted to keep it closed off to the rest of his friends, but I always wondered why? Maybe it was because he did know how this would end and was too embarrassed to express his "love" in front of everybody just for it crash a few months in.

The man works hard for what he wants, yet when it came to this it was more of a fling. A fling that would turn his life for the worse.

I know a controlling woman when I see one and I hate to see it crumble his relationship with Katsumi. If there is anyone in this world that he truly loves, it was her. There was no doubt in my mind.

I remember him calling me over to talk, so I rushed over to see my son. He sounded so depressed over the phone and I was trying to find out who managed to get him so upset.

He told me that Katsumi had came back to Japan for a break and he was working as her personal body guard. The way his eyes lit when he said he's gotten to know her better was refreshing, but his face held that same frown for the entirety of the conversation. He had said he quite because of this Haruki person and it did sound a bit petty, but I never saw my son to be the person to quite a job over something petty.

The more I thought on the matter made me realize that he was feeling forced away from Katsumi and that was enough to make him spiral. Cussing out his superiors, quitting his job, it was unlike him.

That woman makes him so emotional and it can be scary because I know this man would lash out if the situation dragged. I know he would burn the world down if anything were to happen to her, but it happened to him, so in a sense it could've gone worse.

Being her personal body guard meant everything to him. He already devoted his wellbeing to saving lives, but her life he cherished and it was ripped away from him the moment his supervisor changed the lineup.

If anything would've happened to Katsumi and I mean anything, my son would be gone as I know it.

"They have All Might merch!!", I yelled.

Mic turned his head and smiled, pointing out all hero merch that rested on the cart.

I picked up the All Might mask and placed it on my face, doing my best all might impression with my quirk, "Fear not citizens because I AM HERE!!"

Mic covered his laugh with his hands, as the rest of the people looked around to see if it were actually All Might.

I hurriedly took off the mask and rushed away, embarrassed for confusing everyone, "Shit, I didn't mean to do it so loud"

"Your impression was spot on. You must have a lot of fun with that quirk of yours", Mic laughed.
